Extensively discussing the nominations is discouraged, as in the end a public poll will decide the winner.     I don't think it's just the layout? Where would Junkyard or any design win otherwise. I'd actually have thought it's definitely not just the layout? But somebody needs to clarify this.

    We consider them to be like Golden Ticket Awards. Intimidator 305 isn't considered a good coaster for it's themeing and surroundings, its good cause of its layout, this is the same. Surroundings help, but the layout is the main thing up for the award. Which is why the NEDC entries will all go up for 1 award.
