Let's just do this instead:

 

1. We build a railroad, since what says "Christmas" more than a railroad!

2. We actually do Domino here, not the weird Liam kind on Multiplayer: Every turn is done by adding two 10x10 squares to the currently existing track. You can place those squares however you like.

3. Just like the river in Carcassone, the railway must move ever farther away from the station, so no turning back until the other end of the map is reached.

4. I''ll upload the starting file here. When you take the project over, just say so (in bold letters would be best) and upload the map again after you're done.

5. No restriction on how many pieces someone can build, but don't have it end up as a two man project.

I'd say stick to the bench, it might be a mess and problematic for the last builder who might be missing a bunch of objects.

I apologize for this double posting (it was a reaction my laptop PC sometimes takes...), but I've uploaded the 1st block to your 2018 Christmas community collaboration scenario map.

 

My section starts off the Christmas Express railway with its 1st station, with its queue and exit lines.  I also built a station house building.

 

This block also has the Holly Jolly Twhirler flat thrill ride, a Tilt-A-Whirl (AE's Tilted Whirler, done in white/green, with red enter/exit booths).

 

The 10×10 block was also covered with a snow blanket, with white snow-covered spruce trees, and double-bannered round globe lamp posts.

We should do something like this anyways but make it where each person has square to build on and picks their own themes.

I would very much be interested. I kinda have an interesting idea for that.

So I take it this idea died...if it were to be done by 4 or 5 months from now...would anyone want to restart it?
