(Archive) Advertising District / Rct 2 Place

ok for some reason my last topic on this was deleted. so i wanna start this one. now before someone goes and deletes this because they think xcite is part of my web site, well he's not so don't worry.
now i am planning(by myself at the moment) a new layout for this site(not ripped off). and hopefully something not found on any other rct/rct 2 web site. so be on the look out for that.
here is the link www.rct2place.tk i am also gonna put up a intro page with a new logo/banner. So for now plz check out the new fourms i just got up, and yes there invasion boards.
right now are fourms are down but i will let you know when the are back up.

we need some staff so if you want to be a staff member just go to my fourms and go to the staff sign up page. and fill out the 2 line fourm.
Also staff members become admins and/or moderators.

rctfan, if nobody replies, that doesn't mean you have to repeatedly. If you do it again, then Im going to close this. There are three posts in this topic, all by you. Enough already.

that was a little harsh, but he's got a point. You need to focus on turning out parks, and then you could make a website. So far you have two unrealesed parks, and it dosen't look like your getting lots of hype over here. You should just wait some, establish your name, buildi some parks then make a website to showcase it. Like Mantis for example, build your talent then show it.

Tons of topics? You have 18 replies total, thats not what I would call a ton. The problem here is you are attempting to establish a community at another community, but people have no reason to go to yours because NE is well established and has the members already, while yours has nothing new drawing people. Good luck, but I think you will find it a little difficult to attract members.

Rctfan, your website sucks major ass. It would have been better if you didn't try even making one.

The Review:
I have been to many rct sites and these site are the best i have been to so i would like to take this time to post some reviews about them.

rct2.com:
This is the rct/rct 2 site i have been to. This growing rct/rct 2 communtiy offers many things escpesially in there fourms, whichh are very well originized.

The layout: it is really nice, and orginzed, it may not look like a lot of content but still has many things to offer, like bommers e-views and the vp of the month.

Fourms: this is probably the best thing rct2.com can offer. There fourms are always being updated, and has tons of topics, if you are gonna post your rct/rct 2 park any where this is the place to do it, cause unlike other rct/ rct 2 sites you'll get actual feedback and not "it sucks start over". there is also many other topics even one for there growing vp of the month contest(very cool)

Staff: Very friedly and helpful. The staff is a really good team, and keeps the site running and doesn't just let it fall into the ground. even the some of the news they post is usless it still doesn't really matter, they still make up for that. there descions of what should be on the site are excellent.

Overall: my opinion, awsome, this is the best rct/rct 2 site i have been to, many great parkmakers,members,staff whom are all helpfull. my rating:10/10




New Element
This is a good site with many great parkmakers.

Layout: this site has a Really nice layout and it is well orginized. Has a lot of content and things to offer like there spotlight page and parkmakers page. on those parks they don't just put it right on there, they give reviews and downloads to.

Fourms: well, not the best in the world but still good, these fourms are really good with lots of topics, But if you get offended easily don't join, cause the one flaw these fourms have is the excess of swearing(not a good thing) but if you don't mind that then join, but unlike rct2.com posting a park here could mean no replys or bad replys like "it sucks start over" and you can't post updates like one after the other you have to post once then put all your updates in thhat one post whichh dosen't mover your topic up that much. But off that it is a good place to be if you are an excellent parkmaker and don't get offended easily.

Staff: 2 people run this entire site, which is alot of work for how many people have joined already. There descions for what should be on here are just about excellent.

Overall: good site with many things to do. My Rating:9/10



America Coasters
This site is mostly a roller coaster site it does have some rct/rct 2 in it's fourms

Site Layout: really nice and orginized says it all an the news about amusment parks and coasters is also very cool.

Forums. really nice. If you are gonna post your park or coasters here this is a good place to do it in there coaster exchange.

Staff:don't know much about them, but they keep the site running really well.

Overall:really good site if you like rollercoasters. my rating 8/10




Thrill Network
This is also a site dedicated mostly to the roller coaster/ amusment park industry.

Site Layout:Really nice but could be better.

Fourms: very cool. tons of topics, and if you want to post your rct/rct 2 park here do it, you will for sure get really good feedback

Staff:don't know much about them, but they keep the site running really well.

Overall:really good site if you like rollercoasters. my rating 8/10



Emperor Coaster
a growing site which is currently under construction so not much to say at the moment.

Site Layout: so far from the seak peek it's owner gave us it looks really nice.

Fourms: really nice and will get better as this site grows

Staff:nice pick of staff, me myyself am a staff member.

Overall:really nice. Rating: /10(rating will be put in once site is complete)

Rct Knight:

Btw, 10/10 is a joke. Not one site out there can claim a perfect rating. Not a single one. There is always something that could be better.

I never try to put people down for starting up a site, but if you are going to make one, at least make it look like a professional is behind all of the work. In those reviews, there are numerous spelling errors and punctuation errors. Next time you write an article for your site, write it on a word document, and do a thorough spell, grammer, and punctuation check. I don't want to read an article that looks like a 2nd graders book report.

Rctfan, your spelling and large array of vivid wors is flabbergasting. Let me guess, your tops in your "special" english class.
