Hey so I found a riddle I really like and I figured it'd be fun for us to share riddles here

Here's the riddle I like:

Is it August 17th?

I can't figure it out, but I would go with June 17th.

I don't wanna reveal the answer in case others wanna try it, but y'all can dm me and ill tell you

The first line (Albert's knowledge that Bernard cannot know) only makes sense if the month in question only has options that share days with other months. i.e. if it were in June, there's a possibility Bernard would have been told the 18th and would already know for certain. Same with May 19th. Since Albert asserts that Bernard can't know, it's either July or August. Bernard, upon learning it has to be July or August, and then knowing which, means it cannot be July 14th or August 14th because he would be unable to distinguish the two. The final piece of information, that Bernard knowing also tells Albert, must mean it was July 16th because otherwise Bernard would be able to distinguish (between 15th and 17th) but Albert would not.
