Unfortunately, I will no longer be able to participate, but that means I can devote a little more time to keeping the game rolling as matches come out.

For those who need a refresher, we'll follow the same format as H2H8! Place your bets on who you think participated in building the parks of this season! Remember, please avoid active speculation in the match threads; we can put that curious energy to use here. Last time, it was a close race between chorkiel, Bubbsy, and Scoop - will someone else be a better guesser this year?

Standings

Hoobaroo is off to a huge start, having guessed all but one builder correctly. Following in second, a tie between nin and In:Cities, with Scoop close behind in third.

It was unclear early on, but after getting more submissions, the picture began to clear up regarding The Good Death - people seemed to nail Steve, AJ-, and SSSammy. Whether the SSSammy guesses were accurate or just based on his Floater status; I'm not sure. When it comes down to their third builder, people were much less accurate - quite the varied mix for the rest of the team.

Drowned, on the other hand, was much harder for people to guess. CC9 was overwhelmingly guessed as having a role in the park (wonder why...), as was PhoenixWing. The floater guess didn't pay off here though, and resulted in several half point deductions! Dr dirt was also a popular guess, despite not having a role in the park. The one thing people were largely certain about was that it wasn't Roomie or Lilith involved.

This has been a fun start, and I'm certainly looking forward to the results as we move forward in the matches and rounds! Remember to come back with each match, as the points add up fast.

Hoobaroo maintains his lead, but Scoop continues to get solid guesses and enters second. In:Cities slipped to third with a middle of the pack performance this time.

La Tomatina seemed pretty easy for people to guess, but numerous guesses of Geoff and their floater, coasterbill, snuck in and hurt some scores. The participants were quite confident in four of the builders this time around, and very confident that FK and SRF weren't involved. This match definitely serves as a good reminder that sometimes three primary builders isn't always the case!

Gauntlegrym is an interesting case. People were extremely confident in ITM's involvement, but when it came to the other builders, none were really guessed more than any other except Coupon, Manual Laborer's floater. Many guessed Jaguar, and the real additional builders; Ottersalad and Shen Kitchen, were either tied with other guesses in the middle, or on the lower end. The 5% share from Shen might be a contributing factor here, as well as them being a relatively new face on NE.

Really thought Geoff had built on Tomatina. Reminded me a lot of his grand tour work. Also surprised nin didn't build on gauntlegrym. Thought this was the type of park he described a while back that he wanted to build this season.

Lilith had a big round, pushing her into first overall. Bubbsy, Leon, and trav also did very well. dr dirt defends second, and there is now a three way tie for third between AVC, Xtreme, and Bubbsy.

El Dorado had a few front runners in the guesses; folks were confident in floater involvement, but also seemed to pick out BarnNID's work quite well. The guesses for other builders were split, with FredD, Scoop, Hoobaroo, and Louis all getting a decent share. People were pretty sure that Josh, Hydro, Hex, and Otsdarva weren't involved - but there was one guess that guessed both hydroportal and Hex - an impossible combination after Round 1!

Pirates was fun for me to watch because I was also in the dark. My guess would have been nin, jaguar, and jens with coupon assisting. Overall, people were very confident in nin as a pick - perhaps because he's shown pirate themed work before, perhaps because of the architectural style. Jens was also a popular pick, likely due to some of the trackitecture sculpture work involved. Coupon was also a popular choice as the floater, but it turns out he was not involved here. The remaining guesses were largely split between cocoa, jaguar, and MK98. I thought some of the landscaping reminded me of Jag's work, but I turned out to be wrong!

Match Standings

Lilith maintains her lead, closely followed by dr dirt, who has narrowed the gap to a single point. Third place saw a huge shift with Xtreme97 becoming the sole holder of the position, with hoobaro and Camcorder not far behind.

Tokyo Dome City's two primary builders were pretty well picked out by the community, with CP6 and Mav being singled out. Their passion for both realistic parkmaking and Japanese parks were likely a factor here, as well as the product being very recognizable. SSSammy's involvement was also reliably picked, but when it came to a third lead builder, results were mixed with Zarathustra being guessed the most. Whether Sam's work was recognized or he was a safe pick as the floater may be a bit of a mixed bag. Kenos's involvement CTRs was apparent, but perhaps not as a pick as a builder.

Seven Liberal Arts was almost certainly a Tolsimir park; and it shows in the picks. He was a clear frontrunner here. Sulakke also received a decent chunk of the guesses, with some eagle-eyed members picking out his involvement. Biohazard, while Tile Inspectors' floater, has yet to make an appearance, and a huge number of guesses resulted in many lost points. The third builder was tougher for people to pick out, with many considering big names such as Kumba and Fisch - but DededeRob was picked out by a handful!

Loving the guessing game. I missed the first few rounds but I'm getting in to it now! For all the newer members that I'm unfamiliar with, I'm having to go look at everyone's profiles to get an idea of their style. Nice reason to go screen hunting!

Xtreme surges ahead, aided by some accurate guesses. Lilith, hurt by not being able to guess for Esoterra, maintains a strong second - now tied with hoobaroo. in:cities brings up third, only a few points behind.

The guesses for Esoterra have been among the most accurate of the season so far. Lilith and PhoenixWing led the guess count, with dr dirt and Camcorder22 following close behind. There were 4 perfect scores (Xtreme, Hoobaroo, in:cities, and ITM), as well as 1 near perfect score (Steve) for Esoterra. People were really able to figure out which of the builders had a hand in this one.

A Day at the Races didn't really do much to improve any scores significantly. Nobody got more than 2 main builders plus the Floater right. Despite this, Coaster-GEOFF and Coasterbill led the guess count here, with mamarillas bringing up a close third. IonZer0 only received one guess, with most of the other guesses going toward saxman, SRF, and RCTFAN. Despite the average results from individuals, the community as a whole managed to get it right!

Hoobaroo takes back the lead, with Lilith holding second place and Xtreme falling to third, likely hurt by not being able to guess on Lemuria.

Quite the interesting round for guesses. For Lemuria, people absolutely thought Xtreme was involved, as well as SSSammy. When it came to other builders, Bubbsy was the next most guessed, followed by Steve. I think a lot of this was due to the park only having two main builders and Steve having built already in R1. I recognized his work pretty quickly, but I can definitely see people guessing otherwise given his early activity this H2H. Perhaps being a captain has him more engaged in more parks.

Christchurch seems clear to most people - FK+Coastermind and Splitvision were the most guessed. Coming off Tromso, this is not surprising for FK, and a lot of Splitvision's creative influence is present as well. Where people tripped up was often in thinking that this was more than a duo. There were a decent number of guesses out there for ultro, Coasterbill (floater guess), as well as StormRunnerFan.
