    1.Do you have any skills to make your park?

    2.How did you make you RCTideas ?

    1. Yes. Lots. I'll list some but I'm sure Coaster Ed can think of better ones.
    * Patience. Lots of it.
    * Imagination
    * The balls to try something different

    2. Make them? Do you mean think them up?
    * Dreams
    * Flashes of inspiration
    * Looking at real-life parks and taking elements of them.

    Again, Coaster Ed will probably school me in the way to do this kind of thing properly.

    Actually Nic, I think you've got it all right there. There's some skill involved in knowing how to transfer your imagination into RCT form but really those three you listed there are what really matter. As for ideas, anything can be inspiration really. Think of everything that interests you: movies, music, games, sports, etc. Any of these things could be inspiration for a park. Parkmaking for me is mostly about trying new themes but some people are more inspired to make rides than themes. Good rides could tell a story or they could be marvelous combinations of speed and inversions or they could simply look great. There's a lot to it but the trick is finding what matters to you and putting it into your parks. It's this kind of personal expression that will make your work unique.

    Nic has spoken. :)

    Ed has concurred. :X

    Why am I posting? ???

    Seriously, they nailed it. Referring to Nic's post, many ignore 1C, but that's actually my favorite part, and what keeps me playing. The day when all of my parks start looking like everyone elses is the day I need to quit.

    Kai :yup:

    and i concur with kai, that IS the most important part.

    and making a coaster tell a story is undoubtedly the funnest way to make a coaster =P

    I've got another.

    * The guts to build what personally you think looks good and not bending and changing your park style just so it fits with a "masters" idea of amazing. Build what you like and be proud of what you feel you enjoy building. Theres no point playing RCT if you're building parks you don't like and not having the most important aspect of RCT, fun!

    Probably one of the most important quotes you could say about Rct, this refers to so many people including me. If you can take that pressure of somebody not liking what you love building. Or you get it the other way, someone loving your work to bits.
