Ask the Experts / need help

im tryin to build a rc1 park wit all the addons and i just can't get the theming and archy ride cos i have no idea how to do it. ive good at building rides but the look boring. help me.

I have had exactly the same experience...

and my advice is...

keep trying, and keep looking at great parks.

Really. I used to suck at theming but I've gotten a lot better. I don't know what happened except I kept downloading all the spotlights + runner ups and looking over them with the question "How do they do it?" in my mind.

And eventually, I got better!

Not that this is really help, just encouragement.

The best thing to do is to look at what has been done before. Install the drexler patch if you dont have it already and download some of the spotlights from this site. The way I started was acutally imitating another parkmaker's buildings and themes until I became comforterable enough to change it around a little and develop my own style.

That's exactly what I was talking about.

Drexler patch I found at RCT Station, but since it is closed down, I suggest tycoon planet. (www.tycoonplanet.com) It is under patches in their downloads section. You can also get Dragon trainer there. Go to trainers under downloads. It's near the top of the page. (Dragon v6.0 I think - it's been a long time)
