Hello all, my little "Song Of The Day" thingy is back (as you should hopefully see). This time, seeing as I'm just posting it directly here instead of at a site with any particular taste in music, there should a larger variety of artists and songs featured.
Today we have...
Belle & Sebastian's "Electronic Renaissance"
...off of their first album, Tigermilk. There are better ways I could have chosen to kick this off again, but - I don't really care. I hope you all enjoy it - and that I don't loose all my bandwith.
With that second point in mind - I'm looking for somebody to host these things for me, or at the very least a good free web-hosting service. Angelfire sucks ass - in fact, everything sucks ass.
If you'd like to help, reply - if you'd like to comment on the song (good/bad/whatever), reply - if you'd like to spam, reply - if you'd like to do anything once so ever, reply.
Doesn't really matter what you do - bumps my topic all the same. -

Hello all, sorry for not putting yesterday's up. But today I'm back - and back with a pretty damned amazing song at that.
So what is the song of the day?
Antipop Consortium's "Monstro City"
...off of their CD "Antipop Consortium Vs Matthew Shipp", part of Thirsty Ear's beyond perfect Blue Series Jazz line. I hope you all enjoy it - and reply! Or not.
You guys must have opinons on the stuff, right? Post them. -

Chauncey - tomorrow I might download these to see what their like. I'm only on ISDN so it'll take a while but hey, i'm online that long anyway so why not.
Are we allowed to post our own Songs of the Day too? Even though I wouldn't have a link or anything -

In all honesty, I don't really care. Go right ahead! Are we allowed to post our own Songs of the Day too? Even though I wouldn't have a link or anything
Last time I did this, a couple of copy-cat things popped up - and I didn't force them to shut down or anything (not that I would exactly know how to force them to shut down).
Besides - having it all be my taste in music would probably get rather dull after a while. -

Well, i'm downloading them now (only 30 minutes left...)
The song I listened to just now which I like is Badly Drawn Boy with Another Pearl from The Hour of Bewilderbeast.
It's a great album, and this song is one of my favourites (along with Camping Next To Water and Once Around The Block).
The openere (The Shining) makes my sister cry cos it's the song she was listening to when she finished reading The Amber Spyglass. Aww. -

Hmm...as much as Gardner hates my taste in music, I'll jump aboard the bandwagon as well.
My song of the day is Burning the Cow by the band Earlimart, from the album Everyone Down Here. Now that Grandaddy is getting sorta popular, listen to some Earlimart for more of the same kind of indie-pop-rock goodness. -

The General by Dispatch.
Some of you might have heard it.
(I resisted the Zeppelin urge) -

QOTSA - Grandaddy are cool I want to download all this music but, well, I can't...maybe I can get my friend to do it for me and burn them or something.
cg? - I d/led those tracks. The Belle&Sebastien one always seemed as if it was going to get somewhere but it never did I was thinking it'd evolve or something but it seemed to stay pretty much the same throughout...and the same kind of goes for the other one (which I thought was just talking over some cool noises...) Oh well. -

Anywho - Angelfire are pissed off at me, so they shut down my account. After all of my remote-linking to other files, they finally realized I was doing it.
This all leads me back to this...
...so, um, anyone?I'm looking for somebody to host these things for me, or at the very least a good free web-hosting service.

Okay children, today's hard rock song of the day is...
Voodoo Child (Slight Return)
Jimi Hendrix
Electric Ladyland
One of my favourite songs of all time, features jaw dropping guitar work and a helluva lot of power. One of the first true metal songs. -
