(Archive) Advertising District / park project

I have a new screen from my park that is under reconstruction. It shows some sample architecture from the main entry plaza. I forgot to add in some minor details which I will be fixing later.

The only thing I don't like it the lime green bits on that one building but thats not a major prob I just don't think it fits with the lovely colour scheme you got going but maybe others might like it.

Hey, that's pretty good! Really has a sort of TT touch cause it's stuffed with custom scenery, but it's put together really well and the colors rock.

Can't offer much criticism, it's real good!

I think this is from Twisters "atlantis' park.

I instantly spotted an Altantian-type theme with the color scheme and atmosphere. Looks nice.

The old stuff was great - it was like a concept park (in true A:LE style) in that it used a monochrome scheme and had freaky height elevations and waterfalls. I really don't want you to lose that in the rework because it's something that was unique to you.

This is equally cool, but in a totally different way! The architecture is still very eclectic (lots of different shapes and crazy usage of certain objects) but it's a lot more...obvious. I think I tend to like the old screens more because they were so different from everything else. If you could mix the two together it would be marvellous.

How did you guess what I was going to do? Anyways, I am doing the landscape first because I can start of easier with an already made landscape instead of flat land. You will definately see waterfalls that are much more interesting in this one. I also have a cool idea that will make this park even more unusual and unique. It will take a lot of time to pull it off though. I am going to give this park all I got. I at least want to get a runner up.

It will be interesting to see how you carry this type of theming through the rest of the plaza and the park. Good work man!

I like this too. Does kind of remind me of me in some ways. Anyway, if it were me, I would lose the Geometric Shapes on the building as I think it would look better without them, but it isn't me so whatever you think is best. Nice work.

Very nice. I can't really complain. It is very good. I can't wait to see some of more of this as it progresses. I love how all the elements fall in at just totaly create an effect of completness (on the stuff that is done, of course).

Nice Work! no complaints here. I like how the entrance to that building looks like an arab roof.

1. Lose the abstract stuff.
2. Lose the lime green on the fences.

I'll try to make the abstract pieces fit in. If not I'll remove them. I also changed some of the colors and the building looks more.....interesting I guess. Anyways, I haven't worked on it much. I have been very lazy over the week. Mostly cause I have to get up so early to go to school and I am always tired. Thanks again for the positive feedback everyone. Any other ways to improve? I'll try to get another screen up of something soon.

I have been working on this park a lot. Mostly the landscape. As most of you know... I will not be showing any completed screens of any part of the park. I want to keep everything as a surprise, especially when I send it in for hopefully a runner-up. As you can see there is a coaster that looks really ugly just sitting there with no theming at all. Well, the coaster isn't even finished being built. What I am really trying to show you is the landscape which will be done as the park progresses. This section was done in the SE though. I just want your opinion on how to improve my landscape. I still have to put in some water in some spots so don't say anything about that. I'm aware of the no trees thing to.


Is it to rocky?
