He's running under the Republican banner, granting him a majority of that vote - but he's far more politically similar to the ideal Democratic cantidate (and married to a Kennedy) granting him a majority of that vote - and he's famous, granting him a majority of the people too stupid to normally vote's vote.

Everyone else, well, they don't really seem to matter in elections...
