I'll try and do this daily throughout the season, and have full reasoning for my picks starting next week, once the season gets all settled in.

Season tickets 8th row, met players, locker room all the time....
Now.......the Phillies.

Something tells me this thread will last about 2 weeks before you get sick and tired of doing this nightly, beside that, hockey games are almost impossible to predict.

I had no idea you were from Cow Town! I've always been more of an Oilers fan (being a Saskatchewan boy it was a 50/50 choice so don't hate me), but I pretty much cheer for all the Canadian teams now (except the Habs-they were always my families favorite team so I cheered for the Nordiques in the name of family harmony).

Brent...I'm going to predict right now that your beloved Ducks don't make the playoffs. One playoff run does not a great team make.

And Toon, one game, oh-no! So they lost game one, big deal? It's just the first game, the outcome of the first game doesn't affect whether or not they'll be in the playoffs. Sorry but, when it comes to my Ducks, I get serious.
