This is my first attempt at an RCT 2 Project, so it's quite bad...
Would appreciate all your constructive comments, please give a mark out of ten also.
Thanks, tell me what i need to improve - don't just rip the hell out of it
These shots show the first section, the Forest themed zone. The Roller Coaster is called "Scyther", and has an excitement rating of 9.13
Ps. what do you think of the logo? -

Right then, "Metal". Did you read this post. Clearly, you didn't. Because if you had then you would have noticed concise instructions not to rip the hell out of it. But you did. And yes I've never played RCT2 before I made that park. If you think its bad, fine, but say why, so i can improve.

It's not really anything, just a first RCT2 dos. Just tell me what you think i need to make better. It's meant to be a forest themed section. -

You actually have a bit of an atmosphere in the last screen which is nice. Other than that this looks like your just playing a scenario. If you want this to look more like a park you shouldn't have exposed stalls. Especially not in a line like that. You really shouldn't even worry about peeps at all and just concentrate on the look of the park. Another major problem is that your buildings don't look like buildings. They look like blocks. I know architecture is much tougher in RCT2 but you should really spend some more time on it because no park would look good with architecture like this. You also don't have any landscaping. Flat ground is bad. It's very bad when it's flat grass. You need some hills under all those trees. The reason you aren't getting comments is that it doesn't look like you put a lot of time into this. You really need to pay more attention to the details (consistent colors and textures, interesting architecture, thoughtful tree placement, landscaping, etc.) if you want people to give you input. The more time and effort you put into it, the better the response will be. You aren't really meeting the minimum expectations of people around here yet. So just keep working at those things I mentioned. -

Pretty good for a first, way better than MY first that is.Keep up the good work, just try not to let the buildings get blocky, great job! (For a first)

Hello.
For a first try, it isn't the worst thing I have seen...
Try mixing the rooves up and looking at real coasters for inspiration for your RCT coasters.
Also, I realize this is your first work, but look at some other parks and try to mold a style based on others.
I know that it would be considered copying, but that's the bggest flattery in my book.
Becoming good or making good parks is all trial and error. I'd say listen to some people here and study other parks to get the basics down, but then adapt your own ideas and styles to parkmaking.
If you like it, that's really all that matters in the long run.
Fuck what everyone else thinks...
