    Full moon
    Half moon
    Total eclipse

    Orange
    Chocolate
    Melt on my lips

    mmmmmmmm......
do you share the same sense of awe that I do whenever a jaffa cake enters my mouth?!
  • deanosrs%s's Photo
Indeed. I always skin the chocolate off first then eat the orange cake that's left.

And to think they nearly stopped making them...
  • mantis%s's Photo
they DID?! OMG! How could they do that?!

    Thank god they saw SENSE!

I eat round the outside, then the chocolate, then separate the orange from the cake, eat the cake, suck the cake off the orange and then eat the orange last.

Or I just eat it all in one go :D

Please don't kill me for this mantis, but what's a Jaffa Cake?

    Kraken
  • deanosrs%s's Photo
I think they might be british only...

It's basically a small round sponge cake thing with a layer of orange jelly and another layer of chocolate on top of that. They're about 3 cm across.
  • mantis%s's Photo
More like 4! and no, I didn't just measure it *hides ruler*

    Anyway:

    mmm......

The way to eat a jaffa cake is to eat off the sponge bit at the bottom, so you're left with just the chocolate and the orange jelly. Then you eat that bit all in one go, and it's supremely delicious! w00t!
  • Dixi%s's Photo
Place the jaffa cake on your tounge, then squash it against the roof of your mouth so that it is slightly crubled and the jelly oooooozes out of the side, then chew, then swallow.

Jaffa's send my hyper, they are the best snack ever concieved. :D

I've never had a "Jaffa Cake" but I would think that would be a bit much!

After all, the sponge part is there to balance out the thickness and boldness of the orange and

    CHOCOLATE :yup:

    British food....
  • mantis%s's Photo
Seriously, you do not know the meaning of taste-bud ecstasy until you've tried a jaffa cake...

We get them in packs of 36 (3x12) and I can never eat less than a tube (12) in one go...they're even more more-ish than Pringles!!
  • Pym Guy%s's Photo
    They sound yummy.

  • Rage%s's Photo
All we need now are jerkys.

And yes, that probebly was a spelling error.
  • jon%s's Photo
Yes, you are correct that probably was a spelling error.
  • ThunderCat%s's Photo
We have oreos in the UK too. They are pathetic in comparison to the mighty jaffa cake.

    Jaffa cakes > Oreos
  • mantis%s's Photo
    Hell yeah!
  • Dixi%s's Photo
    All hail the mighty Jaffa.
  • Turtleman%s's Photo
