(Archive) Advertising District / Please help

I have been working on a new park. today i tried to load the ECES, and it erased an object data file so now i can't load my landscape to work on it. I am sooo Pissed off right now!! If anyone can help me i would apreciate it. thanks.

Reinstall the UCES.

OK, here's what I would do...


When you try to load the landscape, it will briefly give you a red pop up telling you the name of the problematic dat file. I would try going into the landscape with the dimport tool and replacing that dat file with something else. If that doesn't work, try finding the original version of the dat in question and replacing the newer one with it. If that doesn't work, you can look for me on MSN as I do have a few other ideas.

thanks for the help. I was lucky to have saved a very early version as a scenario. i loaded the scenario whcih restored the file in question. It was a very close call. I put a pic of the new project up so you can see why i was a little panicked. again thanks!
