I applied to Cambridge, Warwick, Imperial, Durham, Manchester and Birmingham (in that order of preference).

If I don't get into Cambridge i'll want to go to Warwick. Imperial would be too expensive, living-arrangements wise, and Durham looks a bit boring. Manchester'd be cool...Birmingham is only there as a safeguard, cos I don't really want to stay home.

^ Ive been there, very cool place.

I'm only a sophmore, but I have been forced to start thinking about it becuase my brother is going through the entire process right now (He will most likely be accepted to Yale).

I like Georgetown and some other urban schools, but I wanna look at some rural schools. (preferably the Dirty South :bandit: )

I have about 2-2 1/2 years to go(If I want to get max. credits), but I'm looking into an Art Institute, Yale, or (if I could find a way to be able to go oversees) Cambridge.

    It'll be a while.

I'm busy now applying. I am going to major in architecture and would really like to get into Notre Dame since you spend your junior year in Rome....but I am also applying at Ohio State, Univ. of Cincinnati, VA Tech, Carnegie Mellon, and Cornell.

I'll just make my mind up in the spring after I get acceptance letters back and see what scholarship money I can pull down...

I applied to Stanford Early Action. I'm sooo gonna get rejected, but wtf I'm gonna try anyways and that'd be insane if I got in.

My others. MIT(also not getting in), Carnegie Mellon (probly where I'll end up going), Rochester Inst of Tech, Florida Inst of Tech, Rennsalaer Polytechnic, Penn State Honors College, Uni of Michigan.

Thank god for the Hope scholorship here in Georgia. I don't have to pay tuition for any state school I go to.

BC is a really cool place, especially having the "connections" I do. ;) If you've ever noticed my last name is the same as "the boss" there, you get a cookie, for he is me uncle. :D But yeah, I really have no choice in the matter but I think my parents would be okay if I went to any Jesuit college, really.

Well, I will (hopefully) finnish high school this year. Next year I plan to take the year off and work, maybe travel a bit. The year after that I plan to go to WDW College or the University of British Columbia (UBC, Close to home). I've heard a lot of good things about UBC, and they have a great engineering area there (Which is what I want to go into). FYi, the engineers are always doing these crazy stunts. About a year ago, they hung a VW Beetle of the Golden Gate Bridge (really early in the morning, so no one saw them), then, during morning rush hour as the fog was slighly clearing, they saw it. Tied up traffic for hours cause authorities thought it was a bomb.

On a side note: last year, my math teacher (who is also the vice principle, so he knows what's up in education) said that Canadian universities are much harder than American universities/colleges. Not sure if he's right though... Just thought I'd point that out :)

You people are crazy if you want to major in architecture. Just plain loonie. And take it from an arch. student. You're crazy. And of course, so am I.

Junya Boy goes to MIT, or wants to go there? I got rejected from MIT and Rice. :( Oh well. I love USC, so it worked out great!

Probably Bristol to study either architecture or computer programming.

You guys must be good to ask. What's a site that I can put in my desired major and grades, and then it will give me a list of good colleges?

UBC is a good school, although it isn't the best for engineering.
Some good bets are UofT, UofS, Queen's, McGill, and especially Waterloo, which is probably the best one.
Although, wherever you go, every university will say they have a great engineering program.
I'm currently at McGill taking CivilE, although I might transfer to chemical next year. Not sure.
Just go with what you feel is the right school for you, thinking not only about education, but the experience of where you are going.

And generally Canadian universities are slightly harder than American. But they are hard to compare.
Grade for grade you can't compare them because the grading system is different.
