Yay, napster 2.0 came out and is perfectly legal. It costs $.99 per song or $9.95 for an album. Its well worth it if you don't care about the fancy CD's and cases that you get in the store.
So, yeah, ill use it.its a cheaper way to get my music without the risk of getting my ass sued for music pirating. So how bout you? -

Make sure this is part of your desicion.
Napster= legal.
Kazaa, etc.= chance of getting sued for up to $100,000 per download (but usually more like $1,000 per download.) And yes, i know people who have been sued. -

Napster = Giving record companies money they still don't deserve, they need to earn it back from me after filing those stupid-ass lawsuits. Help, not hurt your consumers.
WinMX = Free, fast, easy, free, and free... -

KazaaLite K++ and then always the newest version of that and you will get possibly any song you want if you know how to search right. -

Just move all your music files away from your shared folder, or un-check the "Allow File Sharing" checkbox option.
Then, you will be OK, pirates.
Or you can be awesome like me and just buy good music and alleviate the problem altogether. -

Morpheus-Legal and Free
Winmx-Spyware infestest but good downloader
Kazaa/ K lite- SUCK big Ass.
I trust morpheus the most plus the petitions and court cases they've won make them more reliable.
Keep in mind the RIAA also said they are drawing the line at 500 files, so they are not sueing Per download, I read a news article before. -

I couldn't find any music that either wasn't looped or didn't work at all. I haven't had that problem at all with WinMX though.KazaaLite K++ and then always the newest version of that and you will get possibly any song you want if you know how to search right.

Or you can choose the safe way and download your music, see if you like it and then buy it. Like I use to do itOr you can be awesome like me and just buy good music and alleviate the problem altogether.
I wouldn't ever not buy an album because I can download it. If I like it then I'll get it. Just because of the horrible sound quality MP3s have. And the cover and lyrics, and nice CD case, etc. etc.
QOTSA, how often does it happen that you regret having bought a certain CD? -

30 Seconds to Mars.
I would call them an overhyped piece of shit, except that even the music press killed them...which leaves them only a piece of shit.
However, I don't buy music unless I have heard a song or two, via a download, radio, or listening to the record store audio system and seeing if I can discern the music I am listening to. -

Ummmm... 95 and 98 are pretty much identical as far as that goes. Wherever it says 95, it also means 98.The wierd thing is that it is downloadable for windows 95, 2000, and XP, yet it isnt downloadable for 98 (which i have)...well that sucks
