RCT Discussion / Merging Coaster

To start this thing off, I'm trying to merge a vert. coaster with a steel twister. I always thought that I needed to Zero all Clearance and build the steel twister backwards into the vert. coaster. Well, that didn't work as well as I thought it would. So, then I asked Corky, and he said to build the vert. coaster foward, through the steel twister by using the 'build through' feature in the special build section of the beast. Well, that didn't work either....

If this made absolutly no sence at all, all I'm asking is "how do you merge tracks?"

1) Build the two tracks so they are touching one another.
2) Begin special build mode, delete one piece of the track you want to build onto, and then build one space back again, so the pieces of track are again touching.
3) Activate the build through function.
4) Quickly get back to the game, and build the 1st coaster into the second one.
5) It may be an idea to line up the "Build Through" option won the Beast with the "Add Track" button in game. Use windowed view mode.
