you know, its better to ask more sane people as in this site has than at the websites that carry the masters of their game, or play against people who have had nothing better to do and play the game nonstop to the point where they've honed ever last strategy and so beat the snot of you within in the first five minutes.

Generals sucks, Red Alert 2 is much better.
Ok... Its in 3D but it still sucks.

I played it , on a crack. It's pretty cool, my brother and me got like a 3 hour lan battle on it. I must say it's the Best C&C Yet. But it sucks that they don't had G.D.I. and N.O.D. like the classic C&C.

On a first note, this is the basic chat forum for talking about just about anything you want so it was the right place to put this and he didn't do anything wrong by posting it at NE. Lay off and stop being such assholes.

I wasn't a big fan of Generals, nothing from Westwood has been able to come close to Tiberium Sun except for maybe Red Alert 2. Generals looks nice, but thats about it... not nearly as much strategy as in the other games.

Warcraft III could still beat out any of these games without contest though.

Generals is okay, but my favorite has to be C&C Tiberian Sun

Warcraft III is much much better than anyother RTS out there at the moment anyways. More strategy, better graphics, and just in general more fun to play, I would suggest you pick it up, also there is a much larger online community for that game too.

Since this is Basic Chat, people can talk about whatever they want--even if what they want to talk about has another forum.

You are so fucking belligerant Kotsa, these forums are useless for what he wants, everyone here plays that game RCT, and they don't know anything else.

So I was simply recommending to him that he goes to a site where there are going to be more members, and more people who play the game he wants to play and enjoy, I just happened to put some retarded links in there.

I love C&C generals. Just got Zero Hour for Christmas. I havent tried any other C&C version yet though, so my opinion isn't that valid. I would play online, but i dont have broadband yet.

I would buy Generals but at $40 it's still a rip off. I'll buy it in a year and save my money. I've played all of the C&Cs (except Generals and Red Alert Two) and i'll say the Tiberian Sun was a major disapointment for me. I prefer Red Alert and I'm sure I'll love the 2nd one even more (got the expantion too).

The Classic Command & Conquer had me hooked like a fish for a few months back in 98'. God it seems like yesterday...

No. Thats Red Alert 2 which, IMO is the greatest C&C game.
