I've decided give NE members a chance to see what my current theme project is: (below taken from RCT2.com)

UPDATE : The First Showcase Screen

This screen is what i call a 'Showcase Screen'. These screens show what can be done with the objects, using minimal/no other objects from RCT2 or by other object creators.

This particular screen shows the what can be done with all the objects so far. (from both the Aquarium and Ruins pack)

The actual developmental update is that i've edited all variations of the Pirate style rooves to have brick sides.

It would be good if you actually said what is wrong with the objects and how they could be improved. (btw i'm not expecting any comments on the actual architechture....it's just for example)

The building is preatty ugly looking and I don't really care for the textures, I think it should be lighter, but the architecture is really good.

Ok....

Well i do have alternative rooves which are the tile rooves with brick sides

Would these be better than the pirate style rooves?

They would be good for any brick building really, I'm just saying it doesn't go with an atlantis-theme.

UPDATE - Set Of Showcase Screens

I give you a set of 4 teaser screens, taken from a mini park area, to show uses of both Aquarium and Ruins objects. Do note the objects haven't been completly neatened up and also note that i'm not a parkmaker, so don't expect anything wonderful on the architechture side of things.

(56Kers may find slow load times)

Screen 1 - Aquarium Building

Screen 2 - Atlantis Ruins Building

Screen 3 - Entrance Area With Area For Stalls

Screen 4 - The Ancient Atlantis Ruins (..sort of..)

I think they're okay, but I wouldn't use them. The colors are too dark and they don't go together well. It looks more like Satan-death-Hell land than Atlantis.

Yes i did that make that 'custom rain...which is actually a waterfall style object but with a lighter flow.

finally an UPDATE!!!

PROGRESS - Potential Colour Change

This is something i've been thinking about for quite a while now but was something i couldn't get right.

I wanted to change the colour scheme slightly to better blend in with the ground type used above. Comments from NewElement also led me to the decision.

All i need now is your opinion on this colour change and if i should go ahead and update all the objects. (which shouldn't take TOO long)

After that i will just be finalizing and testing the objects for release hopefully around or by February time. I just want to get this Atlantis Theme out of the way! It's been going since September!

I never said he was, I said it didn't look like an atlantis themed roof, which what it was sapposed to be


Oh yeah, those black bushes are preatty ugly, but I think being able to change the color is cool
