Well, anybody who wants to see some of my work, check out the Invert in this park. I made the layout, Marshy boi themed it.

Looks good mate, you did a good job of finishing it. *clap clap*

Pretty nice... solid buildings, just lacked some "graphic" scenery and difference other than colour between the sections. The rides were nice, voodoo's invert was pretty cool, I thought it was a bit quick through some of the inversions but good all the same.

Why hasn't anyone else replied to this topic? Perhaps this is the problem with rct at the moment - you post a finished park and no-one can be arsed to download it and comment on it... Come on guys, marshy ain't that bad....

Didn't you send it to spotlight?

Didn't you send it to spotlight?

Realy? wow, oh well I guess its your own oppinion. I for one thought it was quite good. Anywho thanks for all the constructive critisism guys.

    [/sarcasm]

T'is always nice to see that people moan for new parks to be released, and then when they are, nobody comments.

I thought the inverter was a little fast, so I lowered the lift hill by 10 feet and it ran great. The only thing was that it lacked a corkscrew or barrel roll after the brake run. I tried to do a barrel roll over the pathway with those flowers, after the helix, but ran out of space for the brake run. Actually it worked if you lowered the land on both sides of the land and put the roll before the pathway, then make the coaster dive under the pathway with a 25 ft. steep drop and then after, a shallow hill that curves up to the right to the brake run. However, the intensity rating for this design was 9.90, and the original, 9.89, was what I was trying to improve on. I never get why inverts are so intense in the game. Like, an invert with inversions is always gonna be above 8, no matter what you do.

I thought the LIM coaster ran a little slow through the first hill. I didn't tweak it though.

The rest was pretty nice; the only problem I had was with the pinkish brick on wood. I don't know, it just seemed a bit too artificial.

This is all from memory, since I am on a Mac and viewed this yesterday, so some of my comments may be a bit off. I barely even remember if it was brick on wood or stone.

    Nice job.

I thought the park was a bit boring. There was nothing bad about it, but it wasn't great either. It was just OK.
The architecture was pretty dull. All the 2x2 stuff got a bit repetitive and the colours, although nice at some places, is nothing special. The areas all looked pretty much the same.
Most of the park gave me a "been there, done that"- feeling. I have to say that the drop for Alturas Splash is impressive though, and probably my favourite part of the park. If Las Alturas would've had more memorable things like that, it would have been a lot better.
The yellow invert was, just like the park, good but nothing really special.
Good use of elevation changes in the park, it really helped to bring more life to that tired old theming and architecture.

    Is that better, voodoo? :)
