Be ready for a varied, odd group of artists. I'm weird, what can I say. I'm missing a ton though, I have around 2,000 songs on my Creative Jukebox, so yeah... sifting through all that would take forever.

The Faint are a rather average Electro-gothic band, ripping off Clan of Xymox and Depeche Mode, without really adding anything new to the formula. Good, yes, but to call them the best ever, is quite simply, insane. The Faint - Best EVER!
Off the top of my head I can list five bands, who do the exact same thing, better -
Clan of Xymox
Depeche Mode
New Order
The Cruxshadows
Wolfshiem
- and infinetly more if I wanted to. You should check out Dark Horizons Radio, if you like that kind of stuff. Their website is a really great resource, and the show is wonderful (it's on every Thursday night at 8:00pm EST [GMT -5, I think], here WMNF).
Anyways, I can't really do this topic properly, unless it took a simply monstrous leangth of time to do, and, well, I'm not that bored. -

Well, it was an opinion about the artists that I had listed there. Not really saying they are the best band that ever was. But, yeah, my scope on music is really limited anyway. Of the electroclash music I've heard, I've liked theirs the best, though. I haven't listened to any of those bands and I've only heard of Depeche Mode, so what albums of theirs would you recommend? The Faint are a rather average Electro-gothic band, ripping off Clan of Xymox and Depeche Mode, without really adding anything new to the formula. Well, from those particular artists, I would say -
Depeche Mode - Violater
New Order - Substance
Clan of Xymox - Twist of Shadows
The Cruxshadows - Ethernaut
Wolfshiem - Casting Shadows
- are the ones to go for, if you only get one. The links take you to the Barnes and Noble website for the items, where you can listen to audio samples (to see what you think of them), and buy them (if you want). -

Just the People that end up on my playlist. All Indicates that I Enjoy all, if not most, of their Music. A name after the dash indicates a favorite song of theirs, which might be split with a "/ ". No additional words on a band/artist means I don't listen to them enough to know the names of the songs I like from them. -
