(Archive) Advertising District / Four Towers [/~ReVisiTed~\]

While doing Snakes... I had been thinking about also revamping some LL parks of mine. My all time favorite is Four Towers, and the renovation has begun. The park is far outdated and not in the current style, but the rides......It has some great rides I think. I can't even make rides like this anymore, so its like looking at someone elses creation. The screen below is of Bushwacked- The Last Chapter. The theming and renovation is no where near done, but I thought I'd let yall have a look. Argh, I wish I was still making coasters like this. Srry bout the low quality pic.

Your right about it being far outdated but when you say the rides are great there not really doing anything for me mabye its just the bad quality screen but that coaster hasnt really got the best of layouts.

Tree placement is horrible!

I love the coaster layout but everything is lacking. Id suggest more variation in the style of trees. The colours are good and that the Bob-sled coaster looks interesting.

I probably shoulda waited to post this....BTW ALL Trees are going. Its gonna be totally redesigned, so when it is, then I'll post updated pic. The tree placement IS horrible, cause I had no clue what I was doing with them when I made this 2-3 yrs ago. The bobsled, while not boasting an incredible rating, is my personal favorite in the park.

I remember this park....! I downloaded it off Jason Borucki's site a LOOOOOOONG while back. I make rollercoasters kinda like that. You know, the crazy insane totally unrealistic types. Fun fun fun. XD

Whats so unrealistic about it? It could be built and itd awesome to ride. I bet if someone had made a TTD type ride in RCT before the real one was made, someone would of labelled it un-realistic.

For what its worth, I believe Bushwacked (the ride shown) is very realistic to an extent. The simple fact is most parks nowadays aren't making rides like that. Except for a few, lots of Vekoma clones are going around and other cheap fun, but not great rides are being made. Bushwacked is a 2:51 sec ride...Busch Gardens or Cedar Fair might make that, but not Six Flags (especially AstroWorld where I live). This coaster is rated 9.74 I think, but there are also the other two dueling coasters in the park that have and 9.60+ rate and 9.78 rate. I didn't post that screen because the treeing was even worse then. I can't believe I did that! Its good to see the game hasn't just changed styles, but has actually progressed in skill. Peace-j

Updates coming soon. Park is coming along very nicely, and I have removed a hyper coaster and water rides so I can add a new area and actually have greatly added on to an existing area. Two things though

1) If you want to be a tester for the park PM me
2) Is there anyway I could get someone to make me a logo =D Heh, I don't have Adobe Photoshop or anything

B&M would never make a coaster like that.

So? RCT is a game. I, for one, cannot see how it would be fun to make the same types of layouts over and over again.
