6. tie: radiohead: 'hail to the thief', and, christopher o'riley: 'true love waits'.

7. tie: david bowie: 'reality', and, sparks: 'lil' beethoven'.

8. tie: fourtet: 'rounds', super numeri: 'great aviaries', pole: 'pole', and, massive attack: '100th window'.

9. tie: stellastarr: 'stellastarr', ima robot: 'ima robot', elefant: 'sunlight makes me paranoid', and, british sea power: 'the decline of british sea power'

Those are the 11 albums I bought/borrowed in 2003 that were actually made in 2003.

I loved Hail To The Thief the first time I heard it, and I still love it how ever many times later. It's actually quite surprising how few albums there are that I have that are dated 2003. I have so many more from 2002.

Oh well, I like that list.

So those were all the albums I got in 2003. Not very impressive I know.

It's actually quite surprising how few albums there are that I have that are dated 2003. I have so many more from 2002.

you said something quite similar last year, didn't you? it's a cycle. and one most people seem to find themselves in (myself included). most of the records on my list i either downloaded/streamed (legally, otherwise), actually.

but they're all on my to-buy list, which is filled with too many cds for me to ever buy...

But I don't even download music

theres a lot of unreleased cool stuff to be found.

Especially Radiohead B-sides.
My Bends-era B-sides album is better than The Bends itself.
