Here is the story, http://story.news.ya..._s_no_supersize
This whole thing with sueing fast food companys is just stupid. IMO I think it is a way for these fat people to get money and the sad thing is, it is working. Plus do you really think taking away supersizeing( that sucked they did though) is really gonna do anything?
All these people sueing fast food companys because there will do is just order 2 larges and then probably still complain to get more money. I think that law Firebird mentioned should be nationwide because this is getting rediculous that these fat people are being allowed to sue fast food companys for being fat when it's no ones falt but there own. -

The only reason I even go to McDonalds is for the Dollar Menu. Is that still there?
Because thats the only worthy reason of even setting foot inside that excuse for a fast food resteraunt. -

I hardly eat fast food as it is anyway so I could care less. I eat fast food maybe 1 day a week at best. Most times I'll stay home and eat normal foods and or snacks like fresh cut bell pepper sticks and such. I have to say If I ever do go to Mcdonalds all I ever do is dollar menu crap like the Fajita's and stuff like 1 nothing more and a medium soda. -

all i can say, is its really sad parent's don't see what they're leading they're kids to be and they're health.
good riddance to McDonald's supersize.
you right on one thing, the people who are morbid obese have no right to complain to McDonald's as they did'nt exactly say it was healthy (like Subway does however). Yet obesity is becoming a real problem in this country, its a huge problem actually we are indeed the fattest country on the planet. We need to spend more time emphasizing these fast food companies to promote healthier food, maybe use different ingredients or something.
This is a problem that i'm all for solving, maybe they should pass a law of how much calories certain foods can pertain in them, rather then do whatever. yet again that's infringing on right's of companies to choose what they want to sell. so really....
I go to Subway now, rather then McDonald's those are the only 2 near my house, and i go to that one now. -

Isn't it like 54% of Americans are overweight? Finally someone pulls the plug on all this.
Now to take care of kids' menus at other places. You have no idea how unhealthy those things are. -

Jeez, your what 15 now? That many years ago can not effect your current state. Look up fact sheets and stuff. Ok sorry I am a fitness freak. Eating bad food years ago would not effect you currently, that is unless you did it constantly up till now. 1 year say 8 years old, and now 15, you'd have to constantly eat for those between years aka 7 years to become vastly fat. Young age you can eat alot of shitty foods, Your metabolism would take care of it and your being young would have helped burn off like ALOT of it.
Look at me, I ate fast food ALOT when I was younger. Hmmm around maybe 7-9 years old. I constantly ate it reguardless up till around when my dad had his first signs he would have a heart attack), then I started going out riding my bike, eating healthier and bought a weight set and continued from there. Even after my dad had his first heart attack, I countinued.I can bench 270, and run 29ft per second on average. So I am very healthy.
A good chunk of the fast food you had eaten woulda burned off even from walking. Young age allows that. What your saying you were stuck indoors for a whole year and couldn't go outside or even just stand by the TV and do a couple jumpin'jacks, sit ups, push ups or even jog in place?!?! -

Ever think that his metabolism is slower than yours? I've been eatin a decent amount of fast food since I was 10, and I weigh 120 pounds. Everyone is different, buddy. -

His point is that the weight he may have gained when he was 8 should not still be there now at 15, unless he didn't go out and get even a little exersize.Ever think that his metabolism is slower than yours? This is a bunch of BS. It is in no way McDonalds' fault that people do not care to know what they are eating. McDoanlds provides the nutritional facts all you ahve to do is ask. They should have do be regulated by laws or have to shell out millions to people who get fat from eating there. Each person makes a conscience decion to go eat fast food. I have yet to hear anything about the McDonalds SA going around and forcing people to go eat at McDonalds. Now I eat fast food, but I don't do it every day. I usually will stop by Wendy's if I am not my way some place and need something to eat real fast because I am not going to be able to for a few hours. McDonalds should be able to sell what they want to and they should have to pay some dumb ass who gets fat because he keeps eating there. -

Yet another issue caused by lazy people unwilling to place the blames rightfully on themselves. -
