I just had my first fried ice cream and it is like the best thing in the world. It so weird! How to they fry it and have it not melt?! It's so good. Anyone here have before? It tastes really sweet and a flavoring of caramel (I guess so from the melting of suger) So good. -

Agreed, T-man, tasty shit. Especially with cinnamon or chocolate on top, served on a crisp flour tortilla.
Now, the key is moderation! -

ever seen them make funnel-cakes? they poor in liquid-batter, and in seconds it's solid, thus retaining its shape. the same basic principle applies here, only with quickly-melting ice-cream replacing the batter.how to they fry it and have it not melt?!
but i've never had one, mainly because i don't tend to enjoy fried-foods, and love ice-cream partially because of it's freezing-cold nature, which i doubt would be retained when it's plopped in a vat of boiling-oil.
or, in other-words: the frying would ruin it for me. -

Mmm. Speaking of Spanish foods.. mexican candy is very addicting. I bought some Bom Vaso the other day.. yum.. salty/sour/sweet all in one.
BTW, deep fried twinkies are another great tasty food. Fat dipped in more fat. -
