Ok, since i havent been wth MY computer for a awhile and have never actually used the beast by merging and such, what does "zero clearances" mean? Whats it do? Sorry if this sounds like im naive, but i am.

ok, basically it means that you can build through or on stuff without clearences. E.g...

You put a wall in. Then you go Zero Clearences, go back into RCT, if you put two bits of path either side of the wall guests can now walk through the wall. That's basically all it is. And to undodginise the screen, you go Restore Clearences.

The term "clearance" refers to how high another object can be placed on top of it. A corkscrew coaster, or a steel twister has a clearance of 2, as you have to be at least 2 levels above it to build another object, such as a path, to effectively have the coaster be able to ride underneath it safely. An inverted coaster has a clearance of about 3, because you have to be 3 levels above it or below it to build another ride.

When you zero clearances, it means no matter what clearance the object has, it is temporarily made to be zero, so you can build things on the same level as the object, making merging possible.

Restore clearances returns all the clearance values to normal.
