2004 / Nominee Choosing--Best Runner-Up of the Year

Best Runner-Up
This is a very big award annually, because it will decide a NE Runner-Up that I misjudged. The winner of this will be granted Spotlight status, as their park will get moved up after winning. Previous winners include natelox's "Land of the Villain" and Coaster Ed's "Egyptopia", both of which can be found on the Spotlight page now. There have been several amazing runner-ups this past year, so any of the following would make terrific additions to our already prestigious Spotlight line-up.

Before replying, realize that this is only to help choose two of the seven nominees, not to vote for the actual award. That doesn't come yet. In each award, I will be picking five out of the seven nominees (it's good to be king, no?) and the adoring public (you guys) can help decide who else will be placed on the ballot. Only put a maximum of two items in your post, don't fill up the forum with possible nominees. Pick two potentials that aren't already on the ballot and stick with it. Fill up the two blank spots please, and don't reply unless you have a vote with you. You can comment on the award, but make sure you have a vote/s as part of your post.

ugh!!! NONE of those deserve to be put with the 3 parks that were just released with spotlight.

If one does, it would be the Wasted Years, although even that pales in comparisson.

Also, WB Hawaiian Adventure by Ozone was great, with the awesome peter pan coaster.

I don't want to tarnish the Spotlight name, and not saying that any of these parks would, but there are some more deserving parks in the past that also deserve this.

ok so my vote is solely for Candlelight Times, although it's a close one with Fantastic Wonders. Personally, I think both of those parks are vastly superior to DEO.

Oceania and DMA deserve it the most though. They really do!
