This guy is freaky.

He made up this story about 12 students who commited suicide then took 12 current students into the same hospital where the others worked and lived, and died. Then he started doing all this shit with glasses moving about, and the spirit of one of the dead students emerging etc. It turned out that this "spirit" was always going to be the same person - Derren Brown had fixed it - and that she was actually alive and was introduced to the students at the end.

Ok, I probably didn't explain that too well but anyway...

It really freaked me out, I can work out ways in which it was all possible except for the bit where a cup was moved on the table with no human force being applied to it. Spooky shit...

Yeah it was pretty weird, but when you think about everything as it goes along, you can crack it. The Jane thing was fixed so that you always got her when you started wherever looking at the photos.

Very clever though, had me going.

That's what I thought... I mean, the bit where the "spirit" came through the "medium" was just him putting thoughts into her head, using the same concepts he does for many of his other tricks. The bit right at the start was all about the way he closed the curtain, I think, but the cup falling over I cannot work out at all,.

I thought it was great. I chose Jane even before doing the whole "up down left right" shite. I didn't see the cup fall over. I reckon the ball and the bell were just on strings, I saw a shadow of a floating ball...but the camera didn't film the ball itself....hmmmm........

It was definaltey spooky, but as everything with Derren Brown, you know that everything they are thinking is because he somehow suggested it to them in his clever clever ways. I think he is superb, such a clever guy. I wouldn't want to be left alone in a room with him though

I was watching Big Bro and I saw that this show was on after.

Why oh why did I come online instead?

What channel was this on and does anyone know where i may see this (and yes, i know it might have been on tv)?

I switched over to Total Recall after the screaming guy at the beginning cos I don't like screaming.

Evil evil power of suggestion. It's fun when he's making people draw kittens and stuff, but when he makes people scream it's not nice.

During the actual Seance all of the sounds and movements we heard and saw were all done using normal movie methods I suspect, remember they were in pitch black and couldn't see a thing so when the bell rang they never actualy saw it ring they just heard it - same as us, so it was obviously coming through a speaker.

We never saw the ball moving, we only saw a shadow of it - great.

The cup was probably alot lighter then we thought and from him suggesting it might move fall over and the students geniune fright they probably managed to wobble the table so it fell.

He must have hypnotised all of them before it went on air because it's not possible to put someone in a hypnotic trance as quick as he did so they were allready prepped and open to suggestion from the begining I think.

What really bugs me is that we never got to see the birdseye view of the man behind the curtain. I suspect he just undid the strap rather then actualy breaking out.

One tip, never do the ouija board or wateva its called.
