RCT Discussion / Another frustration to deal with

Ok, so I'm building this park, it has this giant drop for a water ride, it's up ontop of the highest land the game will let me do. So I go to theme it, give it some water at the top to make it look natural and stuff, but no. The game has to be stupid and not let me raise water that high.... It will only go up as far as 2 height things below the highest it'll let the land go.

Just another limitation I've come across to deal with. I have an idea to get around it, but it's just so frustrating.

I think Toon made a piece of scenery that's water. Use that.

Yeah, I have it, but it'd look glitchy when the boat goes over it... plus, what I have in mind is better.

I guess my point is that I had no idea about this limit.

Doesn't 8Cars have a function which allows you to raise things to an (almost) infinite height?

then ask X, he should be able to get that done.. tho i don't know if he has ever touched rct2 with winhack..


this here should help. Search for that code, search for zero's, and your on the game data map zone. Jus' figure out where the water raises and raise it a couple manually.
