General Chat / Good, free MP3 to WAV converter

Does anyone have a link to a free download to a good, free MP3 to WAV converter? The one I have now doesn't compress the files so well (it made a 4.06 mb MP3 file into a 46 mb WAV file!), so I would like it to have better compression than that. Thanks in advance guys!

you do know though that mp3 files are compressed wav files, right?
when converting, all it does is decompressing, hence the big filesize.
i know that winamp can make mp32wav. haven't done it in ages though. you'll have to figure it out yourself.

Nope, didn't know that. However, 'Trix sent me the DLP Space Mountain track as a WAV and it's 2.56 mb. I made it a MP3 file and then back to a WAV file and it was 4.2 mb instead. So I guess it does differ with the program (mabye).

sounds like an auto quality loss to keep it at minimum size. but i should only be hardly noticeable.
