Round 3 saw some great action and fantastic work by a host of participants as well as a few upsets. Gone are number 1 seeds Mantis (to Ablaze) and X-Sector (to Kumba), two powerhouses in the RCT business. Entering the Elite Eight, the only top seed left is the surprising JKay, who has definitely proved his worthiness in replacing Foozy as a late top seed.

The biggest upset of the round was Jacko Shanty over Dark Janus, though Ablaze and Kumba's upsets of number one seeds were pretty unexpected as well. The next round will feature the RCT 1 Finals, as Ablaze takes his huge momentum up against another mighty foe, the ever reliable Natelox. The RCT 2 bracket semis will feature Corkscrewed taking on Kumba, Jacko Shanty battling Metropole, and JKay challenging Phatage.
