wow... what a turn from a story that originally was shredded to some musical classic-crap movie into something FURTHER then what the story really was... which was kinda of quirkie as well as a little weird not really scary to tell the truth.

Now that is scary...looks interesting nonetheless..

Great, now I've got the "I've got the golden ticket" song in my head.

Dahl never liked the sappy Disneyfied original version (though I loved it... great childhood memories). This one WILL be a lot darker. Should be a great flick. Depp looks chilling.

James and the Giant Peach was pretty awesome, so I'm pretty confident that Tim Burton will totally kick ass here too.

This movie looks really cool, anyway. Roald Dahl, Tim Burton and Johnny Depp just can't be bad.

I fell asleep during that movie...it's probably the only Tim Burton film I don't heartily endorse.

It's a remake.

This version looks more cult-classic than magical, which is always good. I've been anticipating this for years.. although the new Wonka looks like a cross-dresser - should be creepy though.

I just found the fact that you couldn't be bothered to look up/know his name quite sad, and also the way that it's called 'Charlie And The Chocolate Factory' yet you think it's a 'sequal' [sic].
