In fourth place, we present to you Terra Antico by Gwazi. This topic is meant for commenting purposes. Please make sure to visit the park's page, too!

Furthermore, I would like to point some attention to the comparison of #5 placed "NeMica-Forgotten Land" and this entry, as both are rather close to each other regarding their score so I meant to pre-address some "Nemica was better than this" debate. Nemica's score was 13.15 and Terra Antico's is 13.69. This means the difference between the two is only 4.11%. It was a rather close race for this spot.

looks like my 19 gave my fellow BGT coaster a placement bump ;)

I loved it and imo it was the second best entry in the contest. Congrats on exceeding everyone's expectations.

this is excellent. reminds me of some of posix' work around the raindrop rivera era. the woodie makes great use of its own structure for weaving in and out. the mine train area is the only weak point i noticed- doesn't really have the charm that the rest of the park has; the transition to the egyptian-type stuff wasn't as elegant as the others. overall though, great work.

The score meter says Kumba voted a twenty but then it says you dropped his 19? Either way Kumba it looks like your score was dropped so you didn't influence this park's placement much, right?

That said, nice little park. The wooden looks very nice actually. Where's the park entrance? Couldn't seem to place it for some reason. Haha.

Building a theme park very nice and pleasant!

even if Kumba could vote on a scale of 1-20 he would of had to vote 10- and the two would have tied, but that doesnt take into account his vote for nemica so who knows.

On the park, I was surprised to see LL in the contest, let alone one from Gwazi. Overall the park was nice but i just couldn't get into it. The layouts were good, especially the wooden, but the themeing left more to be desired. But I guess something has to suffer from rushing to finish a park in a month, although that is a feat in itself. The buildings relied too much on 2x2. I probably shouldn't talk as I find myself doing the same thing sometimes but practically every building was 2x2. My favorite area was The Orient. It seemed to be the most competely themed with a great ride and the scenery buildings helped to vary the archy. It would be great if you continued to work on this and finished it to the version you had imagined.

It seems that everyone hates 2x2 architecture these days.

The park was very pleasant to look at, I enjoyed it. I also appreciate the use of LL, because, well, that's all I have these days. There were several little hacks throughout the park that I don't remember ever seeing before, probably due to more trainers coming out since I played the game. Well done, the park had a nice flow.

Great job Gwazi. Your best work ever IMO. My favorite area was the Japanese area with the woodie, very well done. Though I would've placed it higher like 3rd or 2nd, it's still something to be proud of. I'm definitley looking forward to whatever you come up with next.

I enjoyed this submission. I thought the thrust air was awesome and I liked how you used a station block as the block for the launch. However, I didn't really like how part of the train was around a turn when it takes off, that could hurt pretty bad to riders. There were a lot of pleasant details. All the LL work lately has been so fantastic.

Well done for coming out of your LL hiding and finishing a park. Congratulations on getting 4th, especially as this was only done in one month! Kudos to you.

i still don't understand why people keep saying this until they've seen the other entries.

Thanks for the comments everyone. I'm just going to respond to those I have something specific to say to.

@Steve - Thanks. Haha yeah with this park I wasn't really trying to emphasize the entrance area. I was actually just trying to make a small one that wouldn't stand out too much (though I think I made it a little too small), unlike what most parks nowadays have. It's in the very bottom of the map as seen from the overview.

@spartan - I do love to use 2x2, but I agree that I went overboard with this park. Magical Meadow turned out nothing like how I wanted because of time - it originally wasn't going to have hardly any 2x2, and was going to involve a great deal of trackitecture. Sadly, I'm going to move on from this; I will not be doing any more to fix it up to what I had envisioned it to be.

To everyone, if you would like a sort of 'behind-the-scenes' look at this park's construction, you may go here.

Sorry I didn't decide to start this earlier; now it's pretty much just "a park that could have been".

This was my number 3... placing just ahead of Pangea which was built along a similiar style, solid but not breaking much new ground. The themes were chosen well and you did a great job with the month you had to build. The 2x2 got a little monotonous although it was the lack of detail that hurt this the most. Still though, great to see you playing again, congrats on finishing and making such a surprise release. I expect hope to see more soon.

This was a really nice entry and it's nice to see some more LL work. As others have said, the asian area felt most complete overall and that woodie was awesome. It's impressive you made all this in a month too.

Congrats on the 4th place finish.

just wanted to say that i found the "isla norda"-area very beautiful. the music also created a very interesting atmosphere there.

I didn't have time too reply yet, so I'm a bit late.
This park looked really interesting when I saw it at the frontpage, and I immediately downloaded it. The park dissapointed me a little, I thought there were too few windows in a lot of buildings, it looked wrong. Also, nothing really amazed me. It was all quite simple...
Overall, this is definitely not a bad park, just a bit boring. :)

    Congrats on #4!
