The New Element Staff is proud to bring everyone a new design by thorpedo. LL releases these days are far and few between so be sure not to miss this one. Congratulations thorpedo!

Do not own rct1? click here for full scale aerial.

Looks pretty nice, shame I don't have LL on my laptop. I must say that it doesn't resemble Jerusalem at all (except for the color), but I think you know that.

congratulations thorpedo. always feels nice to have old members around and still contribute to the good old days.

    hey, cool.

    i hope people like it..
yeah i realize that it doesn't look like it.. it started out as a way to recreate, but it ended up as a "get the general feel with some cool landmarks" kind of deal. i like to think it looks nice regardless though.

well that's real nice, i've been waiting for this to be up for a long time now! :)
    thanks guys!

    Interesting design.

I'm more for the realistic coasters, so this didn't appeal to me as much, but I enjoyed the structures and ideas behind the ride. It was quite good. I hope you'll continue to build and submit more stuff!

    Grats mate!

Congratulations on making the best thing ever.

Well, not quite, but you get the picture.

    I love the Crosses everywhere.

wtf? When did you get back here? o.O Long time no see.
  • geewhzz%s's Photo
Congratulations again. Always nice to see some LL work, and this was rather unique. All this LL work makes me want to play some myself, anyone up to play ?
  • jusmith%s's Photo
This was great. The parts around the ride were elegant and full of atmosphere. The coaster was good in parts, mostly the second half to me. All and all, a solid design.

Yay, I'm glad LL is making a comeback! (not that it was totally gone...)

this is awesome.. i've never gotten such positive comments about my work before. mainly because i used to suck.

CedarPoint6 - i can see where you'd like a different coaster design. but thanks for the other compliments!

Marshy - thanks, mate. it's been a while.

RCTCA - i came from the underground! and thanks for all the nice compliments :)

    Kevin_Enns - thanks alot :D

Blitz - that's right baby! it'll probably be my last submission though.

geewhzz - thanks. i like to think that it's unique :)

jusmith - wow, i'm glad you enjoyed it so much! it's always nice to hear.

dr dir and nin - now you can! (or at least get a better look).. but thanks guys!

posix - once again you're a savior. thanks, man!

congrats on the Design man... it wasn't amazing but was some very nice LL work which is rare these days and it had somewhat of a nostalgic quality to it. Glad you popped back in to submit this although it's a shame this is the last work we'll see from you.

Just a question, the fact that it is called Crucifiction not Crucifixion is just because the Cross in the logo looks like a t, not a subtle denial of Jesus' death, right?
  • FullMetal%s's Photo
^And what if it was a subtle denial of Jesus' death? We're all entitled to our own opinion, aren't we?

Anyway, great design, Thor. Like Milo said, it's great to see some good LL work every now and again. I loved the layout of the coaster, though I wasn't too excited in regards to the architecture. Nothing fantastic there, but the coaster definitely stands out as the thing you should focus on. Great work!

Ahh, Xin is getting angry and pulling the old "atheist-claiming-to-support-free-speech-and-other-freedons-when-in-fact-he-is-just-going-by-sterotypes-of Christians-as-antifreedom-fuckheads-and-atheists-as-freedom-loving-good-people-so-that-people-just-assume instinctively-that-the-atheist-is-being-more-favoring-to-freedom" move.

All I was saying that in my OPINION (fact, actually), I would not want a subtle denial of Jesus' death on my computer's hard drive, because that would not be good. So if I knew the truth behind the mysterious "t" I could take PERSONAL PRIVATE ACTION I DID NOT SUGGEST BANNING THE RIDE ITSELF OR SUGGEST THAT YOU TAKE IT OFF OF YOUR COMPUTER YOU OVERREACTING MISINTERPRETER.

Seriously, as a Christian libertarian (or conservative, depending on what quiz you take), I definately support free speech etc, for 2 reasons:

    1) The libertarian reason: Unless something is clearly initating force, why not say it (i.e. don't molest people/watch child porn).
    2) The Christian reason: The old tactic of banning everything besides Christianity (which wouldn't be possible these days, as the Church is fading, sadly, anyways....) is a failure, even a Christian should see that, of course if faced with "accept Jesus or die" a person would usually say they accept Jesus but probably be lying, thereby killing off the point of the banning of whatever it is they are trying to ban now. That would not win converts, defeating the entire purpose.

In conclusion, Mr. Xin, you are a nice guy, and I like your new FAQ, but I think you misread me completely. We are indeed all entitled to our own opinion. I will be praying for you, however.

ANYWAYS, SORRY FOR GOING OFF TOPIC THORPEDO/ADMIN TEAM/OTHER VIEWERS I just get carried away sometimes.

Again, exemplary work Thorpedo, I thoroughly enjoyed this.
