    Xcoaster International's: Odyssey Experience
My RCT1 park page on my site with the download, pics, and info.

I had to include several versions of the park in the zip file. This is because RCT1 no longer works on my computer, so I had to assume the most recent version of the park that I have is the one I wanted to release. However, I also included some of the other versions of the park in the zip, so if the first one seems wrong, like if the fireworks don't go off or something, try the other ones and mention it here. Also, since I can't get RCT1 to work anymore to look at my park, I couldn't get any more screenies than the ones I'd captured a long time ago. Anyways, quick park description then the full version of the "read me" which basically reiterates what I just said:

Themed around Homer's epics, The Illiad and The Odyssey, Xcoaster International's: Odyssey Experience takes you along as you follow the footsteps of Odysseus himself through many different lands of mythology, from Ithaca to Troy, to the Underworld, to the Strait of Scylla and Charybdis and all the way back again!

This is a pretty old RCT1 park that I started around April of 2001 that I haven’t touched since May of 2003. I’m pretty sure it was mostly done by around June of 2002 though, and after that I just did a few touch ups. I was working on it to enter the old D-net spotlight, but once I had it pretty much complete I just never got around to releasing it, except to G-Rocks who was my beta tester for this park, way back then. Now, I can’t even get RCT1 to load up anymore, so I figured I’d just release the most recent versions I have and hope one of them is correct and ready for viewing. Inside this zip is the parking lot map which has some of my best RCT1 work on it, and which I’m sure is the most recent copy since I don’t think I even have any others. Also, there is one map title XIOE, and it is the most recent save, but I’m not sure how ready it is for show. Also, inside the other versions zip are XIOE 1 and XIOE 1 without custom music, both of which I’m pretty sure have all the fireworks ready, but they aren’t the most recent copies. Also, I think the XIOE map should have mostly custom music, so I’m also including a custom music download on my site if you’d like to try that. Since I’m not sure which of these maps are the correct ones since I can’t load RCT1, please contact me if you can tell me which one seems the best. Also, the rest of this read me is mostly just the old read me I’d started writing in preparation for releasing this, so forgive me if there are any typos or bits of misinformation, because I was stupid at the time of writing it.

Overall, though this park really sucks by today’s standards, at the time it wasn’t too bad, IMO, and it shows some of my best RCT1 work. There are a few hacks and tricks such as the rideable Huss Condor that were unprecedented at the time, and I think I had one of the first Rocket Coasters, and it was the only one I’d seen for a really long time with an inversion. Also, since I took such a long time to make this park, I did about the first four sections first, so they’re probably the worst (except I did try and fix up the interior of Troy a bit), and after that they get a little better with my favorites being the resort and the Strait of Scylla and Charybdis. Also, I think I did the parking lot and entrance map near the very end, and it turned out pretty well, I think.
Once again, the RCT1 park page on my site with the download, pics, and info.
    As always, comments are encouraged.

It should work now. I forgot that I'd changed the website URL just after I'd posted this. Sorry.

I'd be happy to download it if it wasn't from freewebs (which crashes my browser each time I try).

Could you e-mail it to me instead at citrusmantixATyahooDOTcoDOTuk? Cheers.
