    I still go back and look at this park fairly regularly. It was one of the first things I saw on RCTCompetition back when I first ventured onto the internet looking for all things RCT.

    I checked this park out a LONG time ago, about the time when I came to NE, and I didn't like it. I wasn't used to these sort of parks, all I knew and appreciated was Dutch-Belgian stuff and the modern avant garde parkmakers like CP6 and RCTFAN. Oldschool parkmaking is an acquired taste and my viewing of Shady Oasis. It wasn't until you posted this screen a while back that I realised I had to go back to this park and look at it from another perspective. I briefly did yesterday, and it worked out well for your park. It's actually great stuff! (Sorry for accidentally writing a novel)

    How's EGAS doing?

    @thirteen

    thanks :)

    @Ling

    Yeah, I used to hang around on rctcompetition.com before I went to NE. Actually was a bit of a 'spotlight' park there (doesn't say much though :p).

    @BigB

    That kinda proves that atmosphere is timeless, something some people should try before pooring all there time in details ^^

    @Liampie

    Yeah, I never really mingled that much with the dutch sites at the time. While they did good stuff, I found their overall style a bit to one-sided. Shady Oasis is one of those park I went nuts on the coasters. Some off them are actually decent, but there is a lot of coaster mess as well, but that was just the time and what everyone does when he gets to build his/her coaster without any (self)imposed 'rules'. Its a bit like X250s last park: it's crazy, wacky and not of high quality, but  it still is damned fun. The time increases majorly when if you start to 'design'.

    As for EGAS, I sometimes work on it a little, but as stated in the description, I am in my graduation year (only a half year left now).

    My last few years have been quite tough anyway, but atleast a lot of things are looking up now. Actually tried to tackle a bit of the western area, which is tricky, but quite close to being finished. Still trying finish up the cartoon area, but that one is particulary though with the stuff I have to work with.

    All in all, I'll be glad if I have a masters degree early next year, leaving me with actual free time and who knows, even more time for RCT ;)
