i'm a sucker for blue glass. classy and a really smooth layout to boot. I wish you would keep consistent colors on the foliage though, like autumnal colors are great but you probably wouldn't have two cyprus trees right next to each other being yellow and red

I think it looks good. a touch of color in the foliage wouldn't be missed. Are the rapids side walls meant to be concrete barriers? I think it could be cleaned up by building the wall underwater as well, and easing transitions to the landscape with clever use of quarter tile foliage and rock/ruin pieces. i'm also not really a fan of burying the rapids underwater (especially near the waterfall). finally, I'd say to be careful with the sand textures. probably choose one or the other, instead of checkerboarding it. you can use both only if you're very careful about their respective 'roles'.
If you're serious about wanting constructive feedback, I'd say first we probably need to see a bigger scene with a bit more going on. it's easier to make a nice scene in a neat 25x25 square than it is to make a whole area, with detailed buildings, path flow, terrain, and ride layout/s. so if you want to work on those skills, the best thing you could do is just jump right in and start building. and then we can give pointers!
