Yeah DIMport is great if you have free slots, which I don't. It won't allow you to switch out DATs. Ugh.

SSSammy, well I actually like win 98 as opposed to XP or CrapVista, but it's doing me wrong now.

I have noticed one thing. JA's Thin Model Giga trains, the LIM one, will cause an error trapper upon opening. Even in game. Most of the SV6s I've downloaded from this site include that train, and it won't open those either. WTF is up with that?

Levis - the reason I want ParkDat is because I'm working on a park. I spent about 25 hours on several coasters, and then realized I messed up my bench and I need to get other OBJDATs in the SV6, while removing others (duplicates, things I don't want, etc.)

Posix - I searched for rct2lib.dll and it was only in the ParkDat folder Levis sent me. I deleted that one and installed the one you uploaded, but it still doesn't work.

sorry. map = folder (dutch)

search your computer for any parkdat related files (like rct2lib.dll etc) and remove all of them.
then download the one I provided again and place it somewhere (make sure you extract it). than see if that works.

It doesn't work. Is there a trick of where you have rct2.exe and/or the SV6's?

Again, I really appreciate your help on this. I might just have to bite the bullet and redo my bench, but f*ck I spent 8 hours on one coaster alone.

you still get the same error?
in that case did you take the full folder I send and placed it somewhere else and didn't overwrite anything in that map?
also remove the rct2lib.dll from the system32 folder first.

Yes I'm still getting the same error.

The folder is on my desktop, and I don't believe I overwrote anything. I'm not sure what you mean by "map".

try the version I send. seems you are running version 1.3 . I uploaded 1.6
1.3 is known to have a problem.

windows 98 doesn't have UAC so you dont have to bother that. parkdat should work in win98 tough

I am using Parkdat 1.6 It still doesn't work. Is there any other programs on my computer that would prevent it from working? Any other steps I need to take?
