I have a great memory of getting stuck head-over-heels for several minutes on the return-to-station mechanism of the old freefall at SFOG w/ my cousin and dad. The ride was unceremoniously removed that off-season, similar to Poseidon here.

Surprised to read that there are still a handful operating today. After this removal, Dorney Park has the only one in the U.S.
