I thought it might be limitation in doing the split in the vertical plane, I glanced one mention of that being the case in a very old topic.

But now your one does it in the opposite direction it seems more feasible.

Did you build the black track section last?

I did.

Thanks for the example G Force, unfortunately freefall mode isn't quite what I was after. I'm trying to get the lift in the forwards direction and the drop being backwards.

On opening yours, it was dropping back into the station, so I followed the tile inspector bit to make yours work again. Following the same logic on my own with the piece ordering hasn't helped though.

Only in test phase at the moment, so here's the basic idea:
