  • Unfortunately I was unable to access RCT during the voting period of this matchup. I caught some screenshots and streams, but I wanted to obey the rules and not vote unless I was able to open both parks, which I have done now...

Congratulations on the victory, well deserved. If someone asked me about the RCT meta, I would show them this park. Interesting original story, nice blend of realism and fantasy, expert craftsmanship, and game-changing tricks. I enjoyed the plugin and agree with the sentiment that it was the "icing on the cake" of an already spectacular map. Awesome, awesome job!

    Hell

Tough loss. The more time I spent viewing this map, the more I grew to appreciate it. The park itself is good enough to stand on its own but the music takes it to the next level. All of the whacky rides and cameos had me laughing. This will be remembered for quite some time because of it's ability to just have some fun while maintaining a high level of build quality. Great work, mad respect. Yummy yummy, yummy yummy, fruit sal-AaaAaaAD!
  • Radio Park Tbilisi

So many rides, wow! And they are all appropriately named and themed to the radio motif, love that. Escalators are superb. Radio towers are excellent. A quick google search of Tbilisi shows the radio tower straight away, you nailed it! The custom music with the radio tuning between frequencies is a nice touch. This park is full of content but the sight lines are relatively maintained, well done!

The Royal Institute of Extraordinary Biota

It’s so pleasant here, this park puts me at peace. I’m a sucker for backstage details and the little transfer track and maintenance building for the swan boats station had me nodding in approval, very nice. The music selection is on point. The buildings and gardens are a perfect match for each other. The theme and vision come across effortlessly, awesome job!

  • I would like to thank everybody one more time for the warm welcome, I'm glad you enjoyed this design.

The compliments have been fantastic -I never get tired of reading those- but now that I'm starting to come down from the excitement of the debut, I appreciate the critiques as well, so I welcome any additional feedback if there has been anything else left unsaid. I have taken note of these learning opportunities so far:

main complaint is the rigidity of the structures, but this can easily be fixed !

I agree with this, buildings are a bit too boxy, especially the rapids building in my opinion.

Could've used a little more attention in terms of foliage - perhaps something other than just green! Minor gripe.

I thought about adding flowers but decided against it at the time. To be honest, I didn't even try it out, and now reading this piece of feedback makes me think maybe it would be better with some accent colors after all, you are probably right.

I like the diversity and density of (the foliage) in certain places but wish there was some more thought put into creating a more cohesive package.

Agreed, it's a bit random. I was moving fast and built this design in a total of 3 weeks, lol, but that's no excuse, there is definitely room for improvement.

I wish (the coasters) had a more notable, eye catching set piece. Something of a climax perhaps. If you made a graph of how exciting the ride is, it would be something of a flat line. But that's definitely a nitpick.

Describing the excitement as a "graph of a flat line" has unlocked something in my brain. You are right about the coasters in this case. I often think about how to design ride moments in an organic way, but this method has brought those thoughts into focus, great feedback!
