Umm, did anyone try the ride with the music? That's really how I intended it to be seen. I'm sorry I didn't post this info sooner, I thought the text file was included.

Although I have not used the music while looking at the park (yet), I have listened to the music and it boarders obnoxious, as most computer game music does. This won't stop me from using it with the park, but it definetly is not the greatest music I have ever heard.

Got the chance to d/l it this morning and have a listen with the park - aaah, the memories of Monkey 2 :D Hehe, I thought it was funky, but I did get a bit confused with which train I was following to which bit of the music (I followed the main train, but seeing as there were three of them around the same area when I opened the park it was a bit hit or miss).

I still can't get over those checked mini-golf/path/abstract land patterns....genius.

That was a bit confusing I know. I wanted to have the little mine cart chase at the end there, but I couldn't find a way to make the mine cars wait for 6 minutes while the other coaster went through it's layout so a timed effect like in Battlefield was out of the question. I decided in the end just to put the chase as you open the park. Train 1 returns to the station soon after you open the park so I expected people to click on that train and watch it go through the course. It's the only one you can watch in a ride window anyway (the other 2 trains are hacked on). Also, the swinging ship ("Heads up!") isn't actually a ride, but a piece of theming. It's supposed to look like it almost hits the train but then propels it forward. It would look really cool if I timed it right but with the train taking 4 minutes to reach that point in the ride, I just didn't have the time or the patience to work out the timing. Maybe I'll use that idea again on something else and do it right. With the music, the track should end just as Train 1 returns to the station although I've noticed that it depends on how fast your computer is running (if you have other programs open, window mode, etc.).

I'm glad you noticed the little mosaics. I sortof put those there for you because I knew you would notice even if nobody else did. I was using so many golf stations that I started playing around with other ways of using the golf rides and came up with that idea. I was really inspired by Mala's Escalante so I wanted the whole park to look something like an RCT2 park with 1/4 tile theming. Traditional RCT architecture uses full blocks and looks a little clumsy, so I tried to avoid building things out of textured terrain and used ride pieces instead with lots of wooden dowels sticking out everywhere and scaffolds. I was making an island adventure ride, not a park so I left out paths all together. I probably should have included a readme file with this explaing what it was supposed to be and how to view it, but I liked the idea of just letting people explore it on their own. Now that they've done that, maybe these clarifications will help them get more out of it. Or not. Right now this is serving the purpose of distracting me from the mountain of work I have to do but I'd better get back to it.
