    The first project took AGES
    It was started by me and the legendary DanMack and Buster in a chat room on Mirc but eventually died. when NE opened at aload of talent came available i restarted it with the old parks and asked various people to help.
    By the time it was released RCT 2 was just out of the box.

    hee hee. always seemed like the best way to get the largest amount of room. imagining the parks as a 3d Box the cliff extends that box upwards more so that a flat park.
    The coasters can therefore be taller and faster.

    Well thats one way of looking at it i guess.
