I vote for Cars Land. While I agree with Robbie that I'd like to have saw that monorail idea for the mountain faces explored more, I still enjoyed it more than Adventure Isle. It was pretty solid, but if you go with a park like that, you need to make it outstanding instead of just average.

Eh I don't feel like going in depth about why I chose Adventure Island over Carsland...

Atmosphere is important to me and the atmosphere in Adventure Island wasn't as dull as Carsland. Sorry

    Double Post...

Could we please just continue not to count votes from people that haven't seen both parks ingame? Aswell as CoolCody's, cause that's just ridiculous. I want this to be fair, no matter what game the park was built in.

Also: Steve, could you elaborate on that? By that definition, one wouldn't have to make something outstanding in order to get your vote in any other case than PoTC.

Why are people voting that CANT open up a LL park?

    I vote for revoLLutionists

Only because FredD voted for Adventure Isle because he doesn't have LL.

WTF, there's plenty of people who voted for Carsland without seeing that in-game as well! Why not reimburse us for those votes as well while you're at it?

This is utter bullshit without voting codes. I had way more faith in NE over this...

I can't decide. I recognize that Cars Land is well done, but I like Adventure Isle more, but I also see the flaws of AI. Not an easy one.

Do we really need to have shit hit the fan over THIS?

^He's done no more wrong than any other person voting without looking at both parks. (casimir beat me to it :p)

Just thought I'd take this moment to say that votes are being monitored and anyone voting that hasn't seen BOTH parks, regardless of what game they are, aren't being counted.

So there is no need for 'lack of faith' UNLESS you yourself robbie would like to code the site for us so that voting codes can work.

Why can't we do something like you have to PM Liampie/Louis/Posix with our votes and an ingame screenshot of something the Aerial doesn't show. That way rounds with LL parks can be legit.
  • Casimir%s's Photo
^that is not that bad of an idea.
  • robbie92%s's Photo
Louis, if I knew coding, I would do it. The lack of faith was more in the community, who I thought would have the sense to only vote if they were able to see both parks. I fully respect and admire your's, Liam's, and Posix's efforts on making H2H, and knowing that the voting codes were unable to be implemented due to the circumstances in the admin lineup. However, like I mentioned, I had more faith in the NE community to, you know, be intelligent and logical and maybe consider the fact that these parks are meant to be experienced in-game, not as a screenshot, and that RCT parks are meant to be appreciated from all angles and in all movements.

Again, I should have been more clear; the lack of faith is not in the site itself, but in the decision of some of its members.

Also: Steve, could you elaborate on that?

How many adventure themed parks has this site seen? A lot. How many had dueling mine trains with a splash boats ride? Quite a few. The German's park may be skillfully built, but not enough to the point to overlook the originality of Cars Land. If you wanted to win this, you would have needed to come out swinging with something at or above Kukuana (or whatever) quality. Cars Land is not amazing by any means, but they built something new at relatively high quality against something seen time and time again at average/high quality. Both parks are still pretty good, so I mean no disrespect, but this is just the way I have always interpreted this contest.

Sorry, I didn't mean to jump at you. Just you know, times are hard with the site at the moment.

I understand what your saying :)

Thanks for answering, that actually was as detailed as I hoped. Sorry we couldn't convince you with our first round park - we'll give our best to do so in the following rounds =)

^Nah, I'm insanely proud of what you admins have accomplished. I have all the respect in the world for you guys right now. If you guys do need an extra hand, just let me know.

Why can't everyone just vote the way they want to? It's a public vote, you're going to get stupid ones, that should have been obvious before we even started.
  • Casimir%s's Photo
^Why do we have to make the process unfair for both teams if we can actually set up according rules without compromising forum politics?
  • dr dirt%s's Photo
^Why don't we just use a judge panel if everyone's gonna bitch about 'unfair' voting?
