Okay, I've been pondering for a while now whether to take the above as a compliment or not.

"Consistency". You can never use quotations in my opinion because they are such a personal thing to believe in really. If you go like "this is right and this is wrong" then you're premusing, so please stop.
Some people have said I "took it too far with the minimalistic style". Pardon me but just where do you set a border that indicates this "taking it too far" and that applies to everyone? I do not believe such a border exists and it is very narrow-minded to set them up, if you ask me. Everything I did in this park was done for good reasons. That goes especially for the ghost train, the picnic area and the empty rock squares. I think I won't tell why because it's too personal and who cares really?

The viewer sets up the "borders" relative to their opinions and tastes. I like to look at parks that have lots of stuff in them, and your park wasn't like that. Hence you took the minimalistic thing too far.

Posix, we care because we need to know. How can we enjoy a park if we don't understand it? I know you say you build for yourself, so why did you say you didn't know if you would continue playing RCT if NE didn't exist? I know I wouldn't. I love playing RCT but the reason I'm still playing it is because of this community. I love people commenting on the parks, I love people's input, I love hearing a good review, and above all, I love compliments. I really feel like every park I make is not just mine. I just had the biggest part in it. That's why I struggle with contests. And I think you love that stuff too. Otherwise you wouldn't still be around. So tell us, Posix. Tell us why you put in the Ghostrain. We want to know!

With that said, I don't currently have internet access at my home computer so I couldn't open the park, however, I thought it looked okay from the screenshots. Obviously I dislike the bareness, the flatness, and the monotone color scheme, but that doesn't mean I don't appriciate the park. The architecture looks very skilled, very well done. It seems as though the rides are quite good, and the atmosphere is good. I look forward to opening the park in the future, but honestly I'm not surprised at where it finished.

Micool, it seems you're dependant of this site. Do you really like that? Do you really feel at ease when making parks? Can you be "free" so to speak when clicking or do you fear the complains of people that will comment on your park?

And natelox, I misunderstood you earlier.

You'd have thought The Happy Place would answer those questions ;)

mantis answered for me - of course not. I just have fun. But I doubt it would be half as much fun if I didn't share it with people.
