Okay so youve seen TC and TH, but if any of you have been here for a while you would remember that TC was a part of a mega four map resort, that sadly never got to be finished. I posted this to release the stuff that most likely will never be done.
Here are some things to look for...

Tropico Field (One of the most amazing things constructed in RCT).

AMC 30 (In the Citywalk, another insane peice of architecture).

CityWalk (In general its pretty nice, even though 30% done)

Unfinished Resort (Features some theming, not much).

An unreleased start of Tropico Horizons (With a Paladinesque Beemer) ~ TropicoHorizons (Victoria).SV4 ~

I think TC is in the package, so if you wanna view it again feel free.

    ----------

    Here is the package.

Its up for a limited amount of time, hurry and get it.

Before I look at it, i'm curious to know if any other 56kers out there had the file's downloading at much faster speeds than usual... 12-24kb/sec rather than the measly3-5 it usually goes at.

Anywho, off to check this shiznit out.
  • Fatha'%s's Photo
Shouldnt be that slow...just a normal park (Like spotlights). It should be faster infact because the file sizes are smaller...

@ Brent - yep, dunno why. The files were a little under 200kb but they went real fast.

Fatha' - And I thought you hadn't broken out of your western/roman/tropical shell! WOW! The Citywalk was my favorite but if all maps had been finished I would have held the park at much much much higher esteem. Tropico Field was genious, I've always wanted to do something like that. Can't remember if there's a grass infield, but there should be. ;)

The AMC movie theater could have used some textures in between the white, but holy lord! :0 I thought I was about to invent the excessive go-kart use! But no, the grinch wins again! It was beautiful. I can't describe it...

I now hold the great Fatha' in a much higher light.

Too bad you couldn't finish it though. :'(

I really liked the waterpark, there are some nice slides and rides in there (like the ruins-themed waterslide, it was kinda small and simple, butt so nicely themed). Also, Citywalk was fantastic, lovely Shuttle rollercoaster with a exciting layout and pretty good theming (i liked the giant loop around the path, really fun to watch). The baseballfield, really good too. In my opinion the best ever made in RCT :yup:

It's really a shame that you've stopped this one, it was looking just fabulous...

I think the Citywalk is marvellous - especially that Vegeta shop thingy, cos the hair is so cool.
AMC is very nice - looks like you invented coaster track architecture!

Baseball field is impressive for sure. I don't know about the game or anything, but the structure itself is nice. And fun to see that early TH...glad you made Paladin like it is now though, cos it's tons better than that version.

    Now finish PoC goddammit! :D

City Walk is very pretty, and should be finished and put with PoC I think...hmm...

The rest are ok. I thought the baseball field was a nice idea...but nah. It didn't work out for me. Also, the hotel map was ok, I liked what you started of that HUGE hotel in the middle.

You know what? You can find INTERESTING things on your Parent Directory, like the entrance pic to POC..*coughcough*

damn.. i forgot all about this.. fuck PoC. this looks better

Stadium, amazing ride use, AMC theatre, amazing lettering, what isn´t amazing across the maps? i can´t believe your throwing this down the drain.

I loved the stuff the first time you showed it to me.

Citywalk- looks awesome now. I only got to see this when Fast ball was built. the cinema is awesome and I love the use of coaster track etc. The liitle shops are great,Macdonalds look funny to me the sign for it was great. Fast ball looked as good as ever.

Water park and grande tropico - Hasn't changed since I saw it except for the completion of storm riders. I loved the hotels shape and I so what to see what you would of done with it and the waterpark was my fav.

Tropico field - this was awesome as soon as you sent it to me I couldn't stop looking at it and after all this time it still looks great. I just so love the colours.

tropico horizons (victoria copy)- wow I'm so glad this wasn't the one that was completed. This version seemed weaker than the one you released and there was something about it that wasn't looking right.

I can't believe it never got finished this was my fav project on the go and I wish it got completed (infact I'll complete it for you :)) great work and I loved it.

I think it's good that fatha didn't release these parks with TH. Not because they are bad, but because they have a totally different style compared to TH. It would have felt awkward. As for the works themselves:

Tropico Field: The concept was good, but the building is just way to big. The colours were excesive in places (even if this was the intent). I'm not sure how far you were into the feild (what % was done), but it didn't look so good.

Grande Tropico: This was probably my least favorite of all the unfinnished parks. It was overthemed in places and some of the water slides look iffy. The hotel was exsesivly large and the yellow windows were quite daring. Storm riders looked like it could be interesting, but ultimitly is too much like the adventure ride at TH and UIX's Freestyle Snowboarding.

City Walk: Definetly the best of all the unfinnished parks. Despite my hate affection for McDonalds, you did a great job on the building, esspcially the sign! I'm in love with the sign, it's so perfect. Thing I didn't like about this were again, it's excesive use of colour, the black parking lot and some of the architecture. AMC was definetly over done. Also, if you compare "Margarita Vile" to the building adjacent (with the waterfalls) it looks like they both belong in totally different parks. And again, doesn't really match the park TH.

It was nice to see how the resort was going. Personally, I'm glad it wasn't released. TH is a great park and could have possibly been tarnished by the resort. FYI, TH currently sits at number 7 on my list.

Remember that this stuff is all a year and a half old, so its not gonna be great. I agree with nate though now that I look back on it. About the Citywalk, its meant to look random thats how the real ones at Universal are.

I feel a bit guilty unpinning this, but maybe Grinch can post a screen of PoC to keep his profile up ;) HINT HINT HINT.
