    Rarely do I ever have a solo park to release...even if it is a 50x50 mini...

    This park is based on the founding of Rome...Julus (the coaster name) was the son of Aeneas, who started the Latin race in Italy...Julus founded a city called Alba Longa...from his lineage came Romulus and Remus...and you probably know the story from there...

    Anyway, onto the park...thx to RCTS for having the contest...

    Well now it's time to pick apart your coaster.

    Pacing. Good until the end. When it crawled over a helix at 15 mph. Otherwise though it was a pretty well made coaster pacing wise.

    Theming was great, but it could have done some more interacting with the land.

    Pretty cool ride. I liked Kumba's better, but your ride was pretty cool. I think it needed something else in it, but I can't put my finger on it, so no points taken off there. Overall, fantastic job.

    I didn't really like this. I could tell you put a lot of effort into it, especially the architecture but I don't think it embodied the Roman look and the colors weren't fitting either IMO.

    The coaster looked like pretty good ride, but it wasn't visually pleasing to me, which is the most important part of a ride IMO.

    I like Kumba's more too, but nonetheless, nice effort AP

    i beag to difer. i think this contest was backwards, i would have had it like this:

    1-AP
    2-Me
    3-Phatage

    and i have AP on top coz that archy was very nice with anyout custom stuff, but i do think the coaster was a bit week and held you down. hence you got third place.

    You HAVE to be smoking something Kumba. There's NO WAY yours or AP's entry was better. AP's was just rancid. I couldn't believe it. He kept the ground plain underneath the messy wooden coaster, which is really agrivating, and the buildings just seemed rushed. Your's was way too plain all-around and slow (minus the launch, of course) to have been better.

    So yes, DrumUltima or whoever judged it judged the right way.

    I thought about going for a genuine Roman look...but the scenery available made that almost impossible...so I decided to go with the token RCT Roman look...

    Other than that...thanks for the comments...I guess I gotta work on my coasters...oh yeah...what do you mean when you say I left the ground under it plain? plain as in grass, or plain as in landscaping?

    Some call that realistic. One thing that I didn't like about the coaster is you didn't bank when you almost needed to, and you banked it when it went through that helix that it creeps around after the brakes. I realize you probably wanted the lateral g's so you didn't bank some turns, but some almost needed it. Archy wise yours was better than the other two.

    Plain as in just grass, nothing more, nothing less.

    Dirt is plainer than grass, cos grass gets messy :p
