Haha Kumba would have had a heart attack if he saw that.

It's somehow themed to his brain. That's all I could figure out.

BTW, Panic, please note that if you submit another solo park it WILL be immediately disqualified, even if it was somehow made by Mala himself.

(only one solo per season; remember that one, folks)

Sorry for the delay in posting, I had to go away for a week.

Right, Hurricanes - great park. Lots of fun things to look at and I'm always awfully weak for great elevation changes and structures built into cliffsides and mountains with walkways and such. Wish I could have given you a real match. This park had something of everything, almost

That's why I spent so much of my first post here explaining myself: I was so disappointed in myself I couldn't really think of anything better to say. Iris, I think you misunderstood me. The judging is fair. Read Micool's post for a better explanation (thank you), though I would like to add that I, for my sins, had the fever during those days, just to make things worse. Oh well, enough of that.

Answering to comments, however briefly, is always fun and it seems the polite thing to do because people actually bothered to write about my work, so:

    Steve:
"We would have been done for if Janus actually finished."

Thank you, but I'm not so sure.

    Jkay:
"Still scratching my head on this one. Not sure what Janus was going for here. Is it a follow up to his PT park? I guess we'll never know, will we. Some neat buildings here and there. I definitely would've like to see this finished. Since there were no rides, attractions, staff or really anything besides scenery, I can't vote for this."

It is connected to my PT park, as you noticed, both visually and thematically, for a variety of reasons that I can get into later. Now you did get to know.

    Six Frags:
    "I'm disappointed with DJ.."

    Yes, me too.

    ACEfanatic02:
"Sorry Janus, but if you're trying to do the whole 'hidden message' thing, you failed."

I wasn't trying to hide anything, actually, but I did fail.

    Ling:
    "a huge psych ward?"

    Interesting association.

    yeshli2nuts:
"I think Psychoneurosis takes the prize for the wierdest park ever made."

    Thank you!

    Kumba:
"I hope you can make it up to your team later this season anytime other then week 9"

Be very, very afraid, and all that.

    Levis:
"I get the feeling this is used before it was planned to be used."

Correct. I regret it a bit, but then this is added motivation to use it properly.

    artist:
"i dont see why you couldnt finish"
It was all a bit complicated, but I think your assumption that I was busy being productive elsewhere was nice, regardless of the truth, so thanks.

    Leighx:
"I dont understand what it was? (could someone explain, lol) That brick building was nice."

Thank you, and I'll get back to the explaining.

    RCfanB&M:
    "that's a little boring..."

I agree, it is a bit boring in it's current state, but I personally find great white blocks to be pretty exhilarating.

    mantis:
"I'm guessing there were some unavoidable circumstances of some sort that contributed to this result..."

    Yes, there was, sadly.

    iris:
"you're one of my favorite parkmakers"

    Ego boost!

    mantis:
"surely you can comment on your own park without having to look at it? :-\ It looks as interesting as your parks usually are (by which I mean very)."

I meant I had already looked at my own, but not at the Hurricanes. And, thank you. More ego boost (that, and my artistic pretensions, is why I do this. Mostly that).

    NForce:

I'm glad you found it interesting.

    super rich:
"Are we going to get an explanation as to what Janus was attempting at in his entry?"
    and
    chapelz:
"janus please explain this park because i just love everything you build but i would really like to know what you were trying to get at here."

If you really want to, I guess, but I think there's a risk of it devolving into self-indulgent nonsense (as if it wasn't already) and I wouldn't want to take up too much space in this topic for myself (already too much). If you are interested, maybe send me a PM or something - I'd love to discuss it.

    Ge-Ride:
"It's somehow themed to his brain."

    This made me smile, thanks.

    Sorry if I missed anyone.

Ah ok I see what you meant now about looking at the parks.
Well yes i'm always interested in your work because it seems a lot more thoughtful than most. Sucks about the fever - hope you're feeling better now.

I sense some sort of conspiracy here.
