    Hello all, this is the design I was working on in LL around December. I sent it in for Design on December 23rd, however Corky didn't receive it, so I sent him another about a week ago. I got the reply this morning from Kumba, and it didn't make design. If the coaster layout was just a little better, I would have gotten Design. Yet I'm still happy, considering I know I came this close on my first LL project.

    The coaster is a Roman-themed B&M Launched Sitdown. It speeds throughout a Roman village and around the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

    You're better at LL than RCT2.

    Well, it's a bummer you didn't get Design but for a first LL project I must say this is VERY nice. The themeing and archy is different but it has such a great feel. For what was there, the coaster was pretty awesome and has great interaction with its surroundings. It was a little weak tho. Also, thanks for showing me this all throughout construction and I'm still sorry I couldn't help you in the end =(.

    Yeah, I thought the ship quay supports very nice, the scenery was also very good. What just didn't make it as a design is the coaster layout; the trains lag at some places. But it is nice to see something finished. :)

    fantastic.
    gwazi, i'm much impressed.

    that you didn't get design is completely ridiculous.
    even more ridiculous is the reasoning that the layout would need to be better.

    the fact alone that you had to send this thing several times before you would get any response drives me mad again.
    i wonder if this site will once not be doomed by unprofessional management.

    don't let it get to you. this is one of the first rctll releases in years (serious here) that i will keep on my hd.
    you have your own style. and that 7-8 years after the game was released and about 1 zillion parks have been made. and although you show certain influences, you still have originality in this thing.

    furthermore, i can see a lot of effort and detail work of which i believe it wasn't always fun but maybe tiresome at times too that went into this. it shows you really cared for this thing. and i know how hard it is to finish a project once the hype when you start it is gone.

    therefore, i like this thing so much.
    i very much hope you will continue to play rctll!

    Wow, praise from Caesar, for Caesar :lol:

    I downloaded this and dusted off my RCT1 disc to open it, and while I cant give you comments on the archy, since its RCT1 and I have no business commenting from a place of ignorance, I must say I was pleasantly surprised with the layout. Good job! :D

    Thanks for all the comments guys.

    @Turtle - I'll take that as a compliment, although that could possibly be an insult. ;) Thanks.

    @Ling - Thanks.

    @OLE - Thanks. Don't worry about not helping me. ;)

    @lucas92 - Thanks.

    @posix - :D You make me love you (Not in a literal way). That comment means so much to me, you prolly can't believe it. I'm glad you will keep it on your HD. Oh, and don't worry, I don't plan on quitting LL. :)

    @JDP - Thanks a lot. And I am. :)

    @r_e - Thanks.

    Once again, thanks a lot for all the comments guys. They mean so much. :)

    amen.
    Nice design, btw ^^

    It's a compliment. It's some really nice work, some lovely subtle touches in there that many people don't think to put in. The coaster itself could have been placed in a better setting, it seemed to impinge on the rest of the area a bit too much, rather than having it's own space.
  • Gwazi%s's Photo
    ^ Okay, thanks. Also thanks for the feedback. :)

    @MiFuNe - Thanks.

    Well, if you haven't seen this yet, you might as well, cuz there's nothing else to do for awhile. :p

    Great job Gwazi! You have really put alot of time into this and it sure shows. :mantis: Excellent work.

    This deserved to get design. The layout was custom in a way, but that's what makes it better.

    If Pharaoh is as good as this, it better get Design.
  • RCFanB&M%s's Photo
    ^I actually it's better, judging from the screens Gwazi has shown me.

    This was pretty close IMO. Hope you get it with Pharaoh Gwazi.
