Coming back for some overdo reviews:
In a H2H of incredible matchups, this one is near if not the absolute top. A match decided by a single vote is pretty epic, and both parks are pretty deserving of a win. In terms of their execution and construction, the sheer amount of content and details, and executing a vision, both parks are stellar.
What it came down to for me personally was an emotional response to the sense of artistry and subtle beauty in Lost World with some of the landscaping and macro choices. The area outside the main gate in particular is just so beautifully crafted and picturesque, it was that kind of expressiveness that won me over. Acqua Alta had a lot of gorgeous moments as well, but due to the theme and the chaotic nature of the park, they often felt a bit overly structured and forced.
But, like I said, that is just how the park is by its very theme and construction. That is to say, it came down to a personal preference and response to the beauty of Lost World versus a different kind of beauty in Acqua Alta. I mean, we're talking splitting hairs here, that's how I split mine. Both teams should rightfully be incredibly proud not sure of these parks but also the accomplishment of putting together this level of work in such a small time frame. Congrats to everyone, regardless of the outcome.
